Eloqua Cloud Subscription Services

When pricing Eloqua applications, if the price column references a table, go to that table and locate the appropriate price point based on the Band most appropriate for the customer.

Contact Maximum Bands are "Up to", e.g. Band 5 -"50,000" indicates the customer is licensed for any number of Contacts up to 50,000, but no more.

All new customers must purchase an Eloqua Platform. Additionally, it is highly recommended that all customers also purchase

an Eloqua All Access Education Pass (AAEP), and one of the Eloqua Smart Start Consulting Services Packages.

The below two tables provides the "per Contact Maximum Band per Month" price and are not per 10,000 Contacts. The quote lists the per 10,000 Contacts price, whereas the price list shows the total price for the whole band. The below shows the actual monthly list price

for each Contact Maximum Band. The price per 10,000 Contacts can be determined by dividing the Monthly Subscription price by the Quantity per 10,000 for the specific band being quoted. For Example: Band 10 is for 100,000 contacts. The quantity to quote for this

band is 10. The price per 10,000 Contacts for Eloqua Marketing Basic (in USD) is $450 (4,500/10) and the total price for that band is $4,500.

The quantity to enter when quoting is the Quantity per 10,000 column. These are the only valid quantities for quoting. For example: if the desired Contact Maximum Band is "band-14" (up to 300,000), then enter a quantity of 30 (300,000/10,000). The resulting total monthly

list price on the quote (prior to any discounting) will not be the same as shown in this table. unit price multiplied by the price list published quantity per 10,000 (or Band) should equal the monthly subscription total in the table.

Note that for each band, the list price is calculated at the Contact Maximum and should be the only quantity used for each band. Any "in-between" quantity must be rounded up to the next Band. For example, if the customer suggests 255,200 contacts, then quote them

band-14, which licenses them for up to 300,000 contacts. Ideally, quote a Contact Maximum band that will suffice through the end of their contract term.

Responsys Web Retargeting Cloud Service is quoted per CPM Events. There is a minimum initial purchase of 120,000 CPM Events per year (12,000 USA (Dollar) per year). Customers using more than the quoted commitment are automatically

billed for overages at the rate of 0.1000 USA (Dollar) per CMP Events.

Responsys Rapid Retargeting Cloud Service is quoted as a CPM per 1,000 Events and is the replacement product for Web Retargeting Service. There is a mandatory minimum initial purchase of 120,000,000 Events per year (quantity = 120,000).

Customers using more than the quoted commitment are automatically billed for overages at their existing CPM.

Note that the Responsys Rapid Retargeter Implementation Service fee is shown as an estimate. The fee is calculated through the required BPW and will most likely differ from the price listed above. This is an approximate starting point as the implementation service is custom priced based on

1,000 Events: is defined as one of 2 things: 1) Sending an email to a seed list constitutes a single event and 2) Submitting a creative for a rendering test is one event. For Responsys Web Retargeting, Events are sold per CPM's or 1,000

Events.Creative: is defined as an email sent to a static address provided by Return Path who then displays the email in different email clients demonstrating how the email will look as the customer sees it in advance.

Display Media Budget: is defined as the fee used to pay for media (impressions) as determined in your order for the Oracle Marketing Cloud Display Media Budget Cloud Service. The Display Media Budget does not include taxes, or fees

for additional or other services including configuration, setup fees, or other professional services fees, as well as fees for any overages that you may incur for additional Impressions that exceed the budget. You may authorize an increase in

the Display Media Budget by written notice to Oracle. All impressions purchased by Oracle will be on a CPM (cost per one thousand impressions) basis unless otherwise specified in your order.

Account: is defined as a unique instance of a Responsys Marketing Platform Cloud Service account. A Responsys Primary Account and a Responsys Additional Account are separate accounts.

Application: is defined as a single program designed to run on smart phones, tablet computers and other mobile devices. If a company produces one application for Brand X, that is counted as one (1) application. If the company also

produces an application for Brand Y, that counts as a second application.

Currency Unit: The coin and paper money of the United States or of any other country that is (i) designated as legal tender, (ii) circulates, and (iii) is customarily used and accepted as a medium of exchange in the country of issuance.

$B in Assets Under Management:

Eloqua Insight Reporting Users: is defined as users with the ability to run, review and make simple layout changes to pre-existing reports within Eloqua Insight.

Eloqua Insight Analyzer Users: is defined as users with the ability to build new reports and dashboards from the Insight data warehouse model.

Email Sends / Month: is defined as total # of emails sent through the Eloqua platform per month. Used to describe a monthly volume limit.

Email Sends / Hour: is defined as total # of emails sent through the Eloqua platform per hour. Used to describe an hourly throughput limit.

Environment: is defined as a production environment of Oracle Eloqua Content Marketing of which a customer may have one or more. Oracle will provision up to 5 production environments for Oracle Eloqua Content Marketing Standard

Cloud Service and Oracle will provision 1 production environment for Oracle Eloqua Content Marketing Basic and Lite Cloud Service. Each production environment has access to all the modules and features listed as part of the Oracle

Eloqua Content Marketing Cloud Service.

API Calls / Day: is defined as total # of Individual API calls made to the Eloqua platform by AppCloud Apps and other 3rd party applications, but excluding the application platform itself.

AppCloud: is defined as an online marketplace for Apps that connect to and extend the Eloqua platform.

$B in Assets Under Management: is defined as one Billion in US Dollars (equivalent to: 1,000,000,000 USD) of the total value of assets You manage, and administer for Yourself and that You manage and administer on behalf of Your

customers, as disclosed in Your company's annual report and/or regulatory filings.

Brand: A pharmaceutical drug or biologic brand or medical device name or medical supply product or category name as defined in the FDA database at: http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cder/drugsatfda/index.cfm or equivalent

government medical product regulatory database in countries outside the U.S.A. or as defined in the company’s website product section.

Certificate: Extended Validation SSL certificates, published and verified by Verisign, and used in the provisioning of Oracle Eloqua Cloud Service hosted secure microsites.

Contact: is defined as a single record in the contact table of the Oracle Eloqua Cloud Service database, consisting of the identity of a lead, prospect, customer or person to whom you are directing marketing activities. The Contact band

stated in the ordering document defines the maximum number of Contacts that can be in the contact table of the Oracle Eloqua Cloud Service database at any one time. Contacts may sometimes be referred to as “buyers under

management”.

Contacts - Maximum: is defined as the maximum number of contacts that can be in the contact table of your Eloqua database at any one time per your contractual contact band.

Customer: is defined as the customer entity specified on your order. The programs may not be used or accessed for the business operations of any third party, including but not limited to your customers, partners, or your affiliates. There is

no limitation on the number of computers on which such programs may be copied, installed and used.

Event: is defined as is one of 2 things.1) Sending an email to a seed list constitutes a single event and 2) Submitting a creative for a rendering test is one event.

Campaign: is a specific collection of content assets, rules and metrics set up within your user interface of the Oracle Maxymiser Cloud Service, that is used to dynamically change visitor and user experiences on websites, mobile sites, and

mobile apps and to measure the impact on conversion, engagement and revenue KPIs.

Category: is defined as the smallest targetable unit of data available within the Oracle Data Cloud Marketplace. Categories span BlueKai-owned unbranded and branded data verticals, as well as a given customer's first party private data.

Channel: is a defined as a set of ecosystem integrations in a particular vertical that encompass data endpoints for activation in attribution, display, email, mobile, search, site optimization, social or standalone video.

Domain: is defined as a unique name that identifies a single website. A domain can be a parent site (e.g., for display: www.example.com; and for mobile: www.example.mobi), a subdomain site (e.g., west.example.com); a country specific

domain (e.g., for Canada: www.example.ca); and each of these examples would be considered one domain.

Activation Vendor: is defined as an individual partner that Oracle passes data campaigns to for media execution within the partner's platform.





Definitions

Impression: is defined as a single instance of a display ad served to an end viewer. An impression is counted each time an ad displays. Impression counts will come from Oracle and its partners. 3rd party/advertiser impression counts are

not accepted.

1,000 Impressions: is defined as 1,000 (one thousand) Impressions where one Impression is defined as a single measure of the number of times an ad is seen. Clicking on or not clicking on is not taken into account. Each time an ad

displays it is counted as one impression. For Responsys Impressions are counted in CPM's or 1,000 Impressions.

IP Address (Internet Protocol address): is defined as a numerical label assigned to each device (e.g., computer, printer) participating in a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication--used by the customer to route

messages.

Longcode: is defined as a fully qualified phone number (country code + area code + local phone number) that is connected to messaging gateways to send and receive text messages to and from mobile devices.

1,000 Messages: is defined as a means or system for transmitting messages electronically.

Messages per Minute: is defined as messages sent per each minute through the Oracle Responsys Real-Time Messaging systems.

Publisher: is defined as the mechanism by which content is published to a specific web page or web domain via a Content Management System or the Content Marketing publishing system. Publishers control where content goes when

choosing to publish.

Sandbox: is defined as a full Eloqua install that has been altered to prevent unwanted execution of campaigns and processes in production, while still allowing for the development and testing of new work. A production install can be

replicated to an Eloqua Sandbox for this purpose.

Form Submission Volume / Month: is defined as total # of form submissions received by the Eloqua platform per month. Used to describe a monthly volume limit.

Form Submissions / Hour: is defined as total # of form submissions processed by the Eloqua platform per hour. Used to describe an hourly throughput limit.

Named Marketing Users: is defined as individual user accounts granted marketing user or administrative rights within the application.

Hosted Named User: is defined as an individual authorized by You to access the hosted service, regardless of whether the individual is actively accessing the hosted service at any given time.

For Oracle Marketing Cloud, Impressions are counted per Month.

1,000 Page Views: is defined as 1,000 Page Views per Month where one Page View is defined an instance of an Internet user visiting a particular page on a website.

1,000 Server Calls: is defined as 1,000 Server Calls where one Server Call is generated each time data is sent to Oracle servers to process. Typically, all pages on a digital property are tagged and that tag will gather information from the

browser and fire a server call, sending all data for the page on a single Server Call. However, many clients have other page interactions tagged, which can generate additional Server Calls from within a single page. Examples that fired off

additional server calls include: link tracking, file downloads, hover events, partial form fills, and video completion %, among others.

MO (Mobile Originated): is defined as messages that originate from (or are sent from) the mobile device.

MT (Mobile Terminated): is defined as messages that terminate at (or are sent to) the mobile device.

1,000 Pixels: is defined as a minute area of illumination on a display screen, one of many from which an image is composed.

For Oracle Social: 1,000 messages, collected from data providers and categorized by the Oracle Social Cloud system during the contract term. Unused or partially used messages expire at the end of the annual Service

Period and do not rollover, and are not otherwise applied, to a new annual term. The annual quantity purchased is the quantity that is identified on the order form. The price identified is the per unit price.

For Responsys: messaged are counted in CPMs as 1,000 email messages, 1,000 SMS text messages or 1,000 Mobile App messages.

Platform: is defined as each unique operating system platform to which a customer app can be published, e.g. Apple iOS, Apple OS X, Apple Safari, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Phone, Google Android, Amazon Kindle.

File Format: is defined as the standard way in which information is encoded for storage in a single computer file.

Instance: is defined as a single deployment of the application. For details of deployment specific to the application please refer to service descriptions/entitlements.

Model: is defined as one model request submitted to the Look-alike model vendor. A model only counts towards the total number of allowed models when the model status is set to active. A model may not be deleted. Should the customer

wish to de-activate a model, the model will no longer count towards the customer's total number of allowed models. Once a model request is submitted to the Look-alike model vendor, the model input or signal audience cannot be changed.

Should the customer wish to modify their input or signal audience, they will be required to create a new model request, which is independent and counted separately from their previous model request.

1 Million Interactions: is defined as 1,000,000 units of an Interaction, where an Interaction is the number of times a decision is made on which content to serve within an active optimization campaign. For example, an Interaction is counted

when a page is served that contains campaign content, or when a mobile application containing active optimization campaigns performs a content fetch.

1,000 Impressions: is defined as 1,000 Impressions where one Impression is defined as a single measure of the number of times an ad is seen. Clicking on or not clicking on is not taken into account. Each time an ad displays it is counted

as one impression.

Production Environment: is defined as the combination of systems that is used by Oracle to perform Oracle Public Cloud Services, and configured for:

(i) the Oracle Social Cloud Service programs operating on it, and

(ii) for specific uses as part of the Oracle Public Cloud Services.





Definitions

Test: is defined as a single test performed by You within the Test Environment of the capabilities of the Oracle Eloqua Cloud Services.

Test Environment: is defined as a single test environment provided to You as part of the Cloud Services. A test environment is used for testing and validating changes prior to promotion to the production environment, as well as for

recreating events and duplicating issues occurring in the production environment for the purposes of trouble shooting and facilitating incident resolution.

Shared Shortcode: Responsys owned and shared and used by multiple customers to run various mobile marketing campaigns. Campaigns are guaranteed unique on a short code through the use of keywords. Typically

only used temporarily while provisioning a customer dedicated Shortcode.

Vanity Shortcode: a string of customer-selected numbers which can spell out a word or brand. Ex: "56457" = kohl's.

Random Shortcode: a string of randomly-selected numbers assigned by the short code administration body.

Keyword: a word or name sent by a mobile device which triggers a program. For example, a consumer call to action may be “Send KEYWORD to SHORTCODE to join our mobile promotions program.”

Tracked Page Views / Month: is defined as the total # of page views per month recorded by Eloqua by virtue of embedded tracking scripts on external web pages or visits to Eloqua hosted web pages.

Secure FTP File: is defined as one monthly file containing customer subscribed and purchased data, made available to the customer offline on a daily, weekly or monthly basis via a secure FTP site, for non-targeted ad purposes like internal

site optimization or user analytics.

Total Media Cost: is defined as a pre determined percentage of the total cost of media purchased for a customer. Customer is responsible for the actual media cost AND this additional percentage covers administrative costs.

Shortcode: is defined as a short phone number (typically a 5 or 6 digit number) that is connected to messaging gateways to send and receive text messages to and from mobile devices. Shortcodes can be dedicated or shared between

customers.Dedicated Shortcode: Owned by a single customer to use for its campaigns only.

Unique Visitor: is defined as one individual requesting pages from the client website, regardless of frequency of visits during the time period. A uniquely identified visitor can be a combination of a machine (i.e. desktop computer, server)

and a web browser (e.g. Firefox). The identification is usually via a persistent cookie that has been placed on the computer by the site page code.
