THE TECHNOLOGY

Plastic solar panel technology is like no other the solar industry has seen. These panels are made of a very thin and inexpensive polymer film (active layer), sandwiched between two thin metal contacts, which can be transparent. In addition, the process to manufacture these panels is simple, low temperature, inexpensive, and consumes very little energy. The polymer film can be either coated, printed, or sprayed over large areas with relative ease, similar to paint or inks.
