Suzuya is an okonomiyaki restaurant that has been

in business for more than 70 years. It's famous for its takoyaki soup (¥550)!

Nakamuraen is a venerable teahouse established in 1896. There, you can drink green tea (¥100), the beverage people want when they take a breather.

This tempura shop will make you feel nostalgic. The ample menu offerings- about 20 kinds of tempura- are reasonably priced, starting at about ¥60 each.

Juice Noen, the fresh juice headquarters

This is a famous fish paste products shop that has guarded its secret recipe since being founded toward the end of the Edo period (1603-1868). Masusen's neriten is a delicacy so beloved locally that it is mentioned whenever you talk about tempura in Amagasaki. The substantial Sakuradama (¥600) has a whole boiled egg inside it. The ikaten (squid tempura, ¥160) has a springy texture and a sweet flavor that grows the more you chew it, and it's perfect for a snack.
