Spirit Lake Consulting, Inc. offers an innovative approach to training managers, administrators and leaders for tribal communities that combines
1) knowledge of Native American history
2) psychological and business research , and
3) knowledge of technology and management.
Courageous Leadership .
The potential benefits to tribal communities are great. Uses for leadership training include: orientation or continuing education for members of the tribal council, school board, Board of Regents, Gaming Commission, and other elected or appointed offices, and, college courses for majors in business, tribal administration and related fields.

• SLC has conducted extensive research on reservation organizations.
• Our years of experience make it possible for us to design training, write grants and provide evaluations to fit your school, program or agency.
Cost of Educational Services
• Disability Workshops (Caring For Our People & Disability Access) - $100 per person for a two-day workshop, a minimum of 15 people, up to 30 participants at no extra cost.
• Courageous Leadership - a four-hour workshop for tribal leaders, with free CD for each participant, free on-line support services and free email follow-up. Offered as a service to communities for travel expenses and a $250 honorarium.
• On-line courses - can be custom-designed in the areas of Developmental Psychology, Special Education, Behavior Disorders, Early Childhood Special Needs and Statistics.
Special rates offered to tribal colleges only: CEU costs $50 per student per unit. College credit courses $90 per credit hour.
Other Services We also offer grant writing and evaluation services:
Grants are tailored to the needs of your program and your community. Both our grants and evaluations are a process where we work together with the client to create and support a funded project that fits the community vision of a better life.
Hourly rate for evaluation and grant-writing is fifty-five ($55) dollar per hour, plus expenses.
