CONGRATULATIONS

To Jasper Jade Luna Linsao Domaoan, daughter of Virgil Domaoan and Ruby Linsao (RIP) who was baptized this weekend.

So that we may be in unity with the whole Archdiocese and the wider church in the United States, Archbishop Etienne has requested that we use common postures during the Liturgy of the Eucharist and Communion Rite. Kneel after the Lamb of God until rising to join the line for communion. For those unable to kneel, you may sit. After receiving communion , upon returning to your seat you may sit or kneel through the sacred silence.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

In case of snow or very icy conditions, check the parish web site stpaulparish.com. Due to the steepness of our hill we may be closed when other parishes remain open. All parish activities, including daily Mass, will be canceled.

STEWARDSHIP CORNER

STEWARDSHIP—Receiving God’s gifts gratefully. In the first reading, God promises King David that his house and his kingdom will endure forever. It is through Mary’s “Yes” — “ I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let it be done to me as you say.” — that the promise finds fulfillment.

Due to early bulletin publication deadlines, collections will be reported one week later than usual.

Please Remember the Church in your Will and Estate Planning

SCHOOL ZONE

St. Paul School is on break until January 3rd, 2021. Classes resume Monday January 4th. Pre-K and Kindergarten will be on campus.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL UPDATE

St. Paul parishioners have always been generous in their support of our SVdP conference and we are very grateful. However as we focus more on helping those within our parish boundaries who struggle

with rent and/or utility payments, our resources have become stretched. The needs are great. We are asking you to be especially generous when you use your monthly envelope. SVdP meets every other Wednesday at 4:30 PM online during the COVID lockdown. Please contact Mark Smith, [email protected], if you’d like to join our group or sit in on a virtual meeting. As Jesus said, “Come and see!”

An anonymous donor provided funds to

purchase gifts for 40 children in Fr. Simham’s

parish in Forks, WA. If you would like to

contribute to this effort please make a check out

to The St. Paul St. Vincent de Paul conference.

The parish office will be closed from Thursday, December 24th through Sunday, January 3rd, 2021.If there is an urgent matter please email [email protected] or call St. Edward 206-722-7888. If you need a priest in a life or death situation call the emergency phone 206-420-2079.
