Prayer for Protection from Hurricanes God, our Father, Creator and Lord of the universe, You have set the earth on its foundation and all the elements of nature obey your command. We humbly beseech you to keep us safe from all dangers and calm the storms that threaten us. May we be secure in your loving protection and serve you always with grateful hearts. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your son, who lives and reigns with You in the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Ministry and Continuing Education for Adults Because Our Faith is too Rich to have ever Learned it All…

Contact Heidi Clark, Director of Adult Ministry, 281.333.3891, Ext. 328 or [email protected] for more information.

Adult faith formation at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church is centered around the understanding that living

“The Way” taught by Jesus Christ is a life-long, evolving journey, involving both effort and decision. To enable adults to explore the

faith and deepen their knowledge of God’s Word, we provide many opportunities to come together in a learning environment. As a

diverse community with a small parish feel, we know it is important to walk that journey with others and to share what we have

learned along the way.

Retreat Info for Women

ACTS retreats are patterned after the early Church in the Acts of the Apostles and centered around the breaking of bread, worshiping, receiving instruction, sharing in common, and reaching out in loving service to the parish and beyond. It’s an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. The next retreat for women is June 28-July 1, at Our Lady of Lourdes Retreat Center near Pearland. The cost is $230; scholarship assistance is gladly offered to registered parishioners who need it. Registration forms are at the Welcome Center or you can contact Brenda at [email protected] or call 281.460.4753.

Habitat for Humanity St. Paul’s has a long history of supporting Habitat for Humanity and its good works by contributing financially to help deserving families purchase affordable housing. Our annual collection will take place Father’s Day weekend.

Young Adult Women’s Study This six-lesson Bible study lays a strong foundation for your true identity as a daughter of Go and teaches practical tools to make God a top priority. Sessions are Mondays, July 16-Aug. 20 from 7-8:30 in the conference room. Register by contacting Heidi at [email protected]. Cost is $25 for materials.

Grief Group at Mary Queen Typically, on the last Sunday of the month, the Ministry of Compassion at Mary Queen Catholic Church (606 Cedarwood Dr., in Friendswood) provides a discussion on a topic related to illness, dying, death, or grief, and it is open to anyone interested. The Sunday, June 24, program is on Coping with Cumulative Grief and Multiple Losses. Coping with multiple losses can be overwhelming yet each loss deserves its own time and attention of mourning and reflection. Discover how sometimes the only way to move forward is to face each loss one at a time for renewed faith and hope.

FORMED.ORG Parish Code Be a smart Catholic. Sign up for FORMED.org for free, thanks to underwriting from our Knights of Columbus. Our parish access code is Q8QMC7.
