Since its inception in 1991, when founder Igor Akrapovič began tuning engines and making exhausts in his garage for local motorcycle racers, Akrapovič has grown to international recognition as the leading manufacturer of ultra lightweight high-performance exhaust systems in the world.

Akrapovič is proud partner and official sponsor of Ducati Corse in MotoGP and Superbike World Championship. The successful partnership with Ducati started in 2014 in MotoGP and was extended to the Superbike World Championship the following year, in 2015.
