1 &2 Quilted Cotton Bed Spread:(G.I)

This quilt bed spread has three layers i.e cotton top fabric, inner polyester sheet, and bottom cotton fabric layer. The thin inner layer of polyester and the bottom is usually a solid

piece of cotton fabric. The quilter stitches through all three layers creating the familiar quilted look of this very old art form. Quilt color schemes can be very bright and varied, or a

mix of subtle colors, or a colored pattern on a white or solid background. Quilts are usually made from cotton or cotton blends and is lightweight perfect for summer use or as a

winter topper with blankets underneath. Also, pillow covers are made in matching with colour theme of bed spread. The fabric used in the quilt is woven o handlooms and

exported.

3 &4Seat Cushion: (G.I)

This seat cushion has three layers top and bottom is of cotton handloom fabric and a thick bedding topper filled with synthetic/Polyester substitute by hand and sewn through all

layers, and buttons also stitched on top of cushion layer. Machine stitches are used for perfect finishing at the edges of cushion.

5 & 6. 100% Cotton Floor mat (G.I)

The weft pile technique is being used in this floor mat and mat piles are formed by weft threads. There are two series of weft and one series of warp, and a brush like surfaced

formed weft cut threads

7 & 8 Cotton Bed Spread:-(G.I)

Cannanore Home Furnishings had been included under the GI registration.These bed furnishing products are woven with white cotton yarn combination of dyed and non-dyed

yarn counts like 2/40s, 26setc. Mostly Kannur made Bedspread of medium to heavy range with different textures and pattern are woven on plain / multi-treadle Malabar Frame

Looms which is very sturdy.Either single or multiply for warp & weft, also used nowdays.Eco-friendly fast colours of light to dark shades are used as per the requirement of the

industries. Upto 90 inches width of the bed spread are also produced in the handlooms depending upon its end use.

9 &10 Terry Towel

These terry towels cloth has been steadily gaining popularity .The Terry pile weave increases the surface area and makes terry cloth super absorbent, strong and soft to the touch.It’s a fabric that’s woven using two warp beams, comprised of the ground warp that creates the base fabric and the pile warp that creates the uncut loop piles that stand

up on the base fabric. These Products are woven with white cotton yarn combination of dyed and non-dyedyarncountslike 2/17s, 10s, 14s, 30s Cotton (2play) etc.

11 & 12 Honey comb Towel:-

Honey comb towels are made up with cotton yarn and the texture that lends a slight give and extra absorbency. These bed furnishing products are woven with white cotton yarn

combination of Mostly dyed and non-dyed yarn finer counts like 2/17s, 2/17s etc.

13 & 14 Linen Shirting-

These Linen Shirts known for fabric smoothness and durability, Kannur based Linen Shirting products are woven with Linen warp yarn combination of dyed yarn finer counts like 60

lea , 70 lea , etc.

15 &16 Cotton Shirting-

Kannur based Cotton Shirting products are woven with yarn combination of dyed yarn finer counts like 2/60s,2/80s etc. These Cotton Shitrings are medium to heavy range with

different pattern are woven on Frame Looms. Shirting starts with the yarn first being dyed and then woven as opposed to most other manufacturers who first weave plain fabrics

and then print the design later.Either single or multiply for warp & weft, Cotton yarns are also used nowadays. Eco-friendly fast colours of light to dark shades are used as per the

requirement of the industries.

17 &18 BalaramapuramSaree(G.I)

BalaramapuramSareeiswoven with grey cotton yarn of finer counts 100s and pure Kasavu (Zari) is used in borders, Pallav. These traditional sarees are woven with butta on pallav

and body by using Kasavu and coloured threads, and Coloured threads are also used on borders &pallav along with kasavu (Zari) to get richness of the saree. These Sarees are

mostly worn by the Women folk of Kerala during wedding, temple visit and other auspicious occasions.

19 &20 Balaramapuram Dhoti (G.I)

Balaramapuramdhoties are one of the traditional textiles of Kerala which are woven with grey cotton yarn (grey or unbleached or non-dyed yarn) of finer counts like 80stc and

Kasavu (Zari) in borders, Cross border &buttas. These traditional dhoties are woven with rib weave in Cross border by using Kasavu and colour threads. These dhoties are woven on

pitlooms with the specification of 80s -100s in warp & weft with Kasavu by using 72s-96s reed with 68-86 Picks per inch. These dhoties are mostly worn by the men folk of Kerala

during wedding, temple visit and other auspicious occasions.

21 & 22ChendamangalamSet-Mundu(G.I)

Set-Mundu is the traditional outerwear of the women folk which consists of a combination of Dhoti for covering the lower part of the body and Blouse and Kavani (or Neriyathu) to

wrap around the upper portion of the body like dupatta.Chendamangalam set-mundus are one of the traditional textiles products of Kerala woven with best and fine quality of

80s cotton yarn with Kasavu (Zari) in border and cross border. Coloured threads are also used on borders &pallav along with kasavu (Zari) to get richness of the Dhoti. These set-

mundus are woven with specification of 60s-100s cotton yarn warp & weft with kasavu (zari) in border &cross border by using 72s-92s reed with 70-92 Picks per inch. These set-

mundus are mostly worn by the aged women folk of Kerala during auspicious occasions and regularly.

23 &24 Chendamangalam Dhoti (G.I)

Chendamangalamdhoties are one of the traditional textiles of Kerala which are woven with grey cotton yarn (grey or unbleached or non-dyed yarn) of finer counts like 80sc and

Kasavu (Zari) in borders, these traditional dhoties are woven with Cross border by using Kasavu and colour threads. These dhoties are woven on pitlooms with the specification of

80s -100s in warp & weft with Kasavu by using 72s-96s reed with 68-86 Picks per inch. These dhoties are mostly worn by the men folk of Kerala during wedding, temple visit and other

auspicious occasions.

25 &26 KasargodeSaree (G.I)

Kasargodesaree is one of the traditional textiles products of Kerala which is woven with coloured cotton yarn of fine count like 100s. These sarees are woven with extra warp cotton

design border with traditional motives and extra weft simple stripe on pallav. This saree is mainly woven with small and medium stripe & check on body and extra weft butta is also

woven to enhance the beauty of this traditional product. These sarees are woven on frame loom with specification of 60s-100s cotton coloured yarn in warp & weft with kasavu

(zari) in border &pallav with jacquard & dobby designs by using 72s-92s reed with 72-92 Picks per inch. These sarees are mostly worn by the working women of Kerala

27 & 28.KuthampullySaree (G.I)

Kuthampully Saree is one of the traditional textiles of Kerala which is manufactured with grey yarn of 100s fine count with Kasavu (Zari) in body &pallav. These sarees are

manufactured at Kuthampully, Thiruvilwamala, Eravathody, Kondozhi region. These sarees are woven on pit (or) frame loom with specification of 80s-100s cotton yarn warp & weft

with kasavu (zari) in border &pallav with jacquard & dobby designs by using 80s-88s reed with 80-88 Picks per inch. These sarees are mostly worn by the women folk of Kerala


29 & 30KuthampullyDhoti (G.I)

Kuthampullydhoties are one of the traditional textiles of Kerala which are woven with grey cotton yarn (grey or unbleached or non-dyed yarn) of finer counts like 80stc and These

traditional dhoties are woven with rib weave. These dhoties are woven with the specification of 80s -100s in warp & weft with Kasavu by using 72s-96s reed with 68-86 Picks per inch.

These dhoties are mostly worn by the men folk of Kerala during wedding, temple visit and other auspicious occasions.

31 &32 KuthampullySet Mundu(G.I)

35 & 36 Honey Comb Towel Cotton ( Kozhikode):

Cotton Towels are woven with yarn combination of dyed yarn counts like 2/40s,26s etc. These Cotton Towels are especially for woven on Frame Looms. Towels are woven first and

then print design later by using either Screen printing or Block Printing

39& 40 Single Cotton Dhoti(Pallakad):

Single Cotton Dhoties are made 2 meter Length and Cotton Dhoties woven with grey cotton yarn (grey or unbleached or non-dyed yarn) of finer counts like 80sc and Colour

threads in borders, the specification of 80s -100s in warp & weft with Kasavu by using 72s-96s reed with 68-86 Picks per inch. These dhoties are mostly worn by the men folk of Kerala


41 & 42 Cotton Bed Sheet ( Kottayam):-

These bed furnishing products are woven with white cotton yarn in combination of dyed and non-dyed yarn counts like 2/40s, 26setc. Bedspread of medium to heavy range with
