TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI (Information technology, IT):

teknologi apa pun yang membantu manusia dalam membuat, mengubah,

menyimpan, mengomunikasikan dan/atau menyebarkan informasi.

Contoh: bioinformatika, cloud computing, sistim informasi global dll.

INFORMASI TEKNOLOGI: data, pengetahuan, teknik, keterampilan yang memiliki

makna bagi kemajuan peradaban atau pengetahuan yang dikomunikasikan dan

diberdayakan melalui teknologi.
