Survey Methodology
Compuware commissioned Equation Research to conduct an online study to understandmobile application usage, expectations andexperiences. Interviews were conductedOctober 19 – 25 2012. Survey results may havea margin of error of +/- 1.6 percent at a 95 percent level of confidence.
The survey sample equals 3,534 total respndents (1,002 US, 509 U.K., 509 France, 508 Germany, 502 India and 504 Japan) who aresmartphone/tablet users that used a mobile application in the past six months that requiredan internet connection.
