At 2Step Dance we aim to provide all students with the most current and up to date choreography, from staff to equipment, we will strive to maintain a modern and professional studio.

The younger, junior students of 2Step Dance, will experience a fun, positive and encouraging way to develop physical skills and movement whilst turning into vibrant performers and our stars of tomorrow.

BUILDING CONFIDENCE2Step Dance will train an enthusiastic group of invitation only students who are wanting to experience the buzz of competitive dance and live performances. Through commitment, dedication, hard work and excitement, this group will compete in various competitions.

They will also have the opportunity to perform at many events throughout the year to gain experience and stage presence, in order to further their dancing achievements.


We strongly believe that through the fundamentals of ballet and technique combined with modern steps and choreography, successful and professional groups will be formed.


RULES AND POLICIESI understand and agree to the following rules and policies of 2Step Dance:

• All lessons are to be paid for regardless of any absence (for whatever reason). • An administration fee of 10% will be charged on fees paid after the due date.• A dishonour fee will be charged for any dishonoured cheques.• Concert and showteam costumes must be paid for in full if you choose to

withdraw your child from classes once costumes have been ordered.• Appropriate shoes and dancewear must be worn to all classes.• If you decide to drop or take up a class mid-term, you must complete a leave

class slip which gives two weeks notice.• At no time should anyone deduct lessons from invoice at their own accord,

this can only be done by 2Step Dance staff or if previously discussed with Rebecca and Nicole.

• Punctuality is essential for the class schedule to run effectively.• Parents are NOT permitted inside the studio while lessons are taking place, as

it is too distracting for both students and teachers.• Aspartoftheenrolmentagreement,youcertifythatyourchild/renarefit

for classes. 2Step Dance takes all responsible care in classes. We accept no responsibility for injury, loss or theft cause in or near the premises.

• The waiting room is not a supervised area, at no time is there to be any children left on their own or unsupervised by a parent or guardian.

• 2Step dance has the right to refuse enrolment to any person.• By enrolling at 2Step Dance you accept that any photographs or video

recordings taken in the course of classes or performances may be used for promotional use including website. Pleas advise if you do not give your consent.


CLASSES AT 2STEP• Wiggle & Giggle Pre-School: This class

is all about FUN!!!! It is designed for boys and girls within the age of 3-5 years old (before big school). The Wiggle and Giggle class will teach basic and simple movements of Jazz, Tap and Ballet within a one hour class, increasing the children’s co-ordination, musicality,rhythmandconfidence,withtheemphasis on the Giggle!. Within this hour class a range of props and equipment such as, fairy/magician wands, pom-poms, fairy wings, hula hoops will be included to keep the children motivated and excited about the class.

• Acrobatics: Designed to incorporate strength,flexibilityandbalancingskillsasstudents learn the correct technique to master somersaults,floorworkandothertricks.

• Contemporary: Students will learn to express themselves and a story through the very broad and experimental choreography. It is a very creative dance style that is both dynamic and smooth, taking the dancer and the choreographer beyond their limitations.

• Singing: Students will learn popular songs and vocal techniques as part of a group or as an individual. These classes are open to all students, with no audition required. This is a great class for students wishing to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, or if you arelookingtobuildyourconfidence.

• Street Tap: A modern and exciting new style of tap based on the work of Tap Dogs and Stomp, bringing a funky edge to your tap class.


CLASSES AT 2STEP CLASSES AT 2STEP• RAD Classical Ballet: Balance, grace, agility and discipline, Classical

Ballet is the essential part of every dancers repertoire. We recommend students learn Classical Ballet as ballet trains the body carefully, developing strength, control, coordination and line.

• Glenn Wood Tap: Musicality, rhythm, and precision are the ‘souls’ of the tap; while the style from classic Vaudeville to today’s funky street groove, is its heart. They will learn fast and technical footwork, how to dance to different time signatures, counter-rhythms, turning skills with an aim for speed, and great routines.

• Modern Jazz: This energetic class develops and strengthens a good jazz technique. This class will involve all the different genres of jazz from Broadway to Fosse and Hip Hop to give students a chance to experience all different jazz styles, and also giving them a good cardio work out.

• Hip Hop:Everdreamedofbeinginthelatestfilmclip?Thishigh-energyclassnotonlyimprovesphysicalfitness,butrhythm,freestylemovement,andself-confidenceaswell.HipHopclassesaresettothelatest music, and performing the latest, funky dance moves.

• Musical Theatre: ThiswillbeafunfilledintenseMusicaltheatreclasscombines many styles of dance. Gain knowledge into a wide range of Musical Theatre shows. Every week you will be pushed technically and physically with new dances and routines, helping each student prepare for professional musical theatre auditions

Each year many new enrolments at 2Step Dance come to us because of high recommendations and referrals given to them from students and families who already attend the studio. We consider word-of-mouth to be our best and most successful form of advertising and we have you to thank for this.

As a thank you for this we would like to offer you our ‘Bring a Friend Promotion” which gives you a 10% discount of one term’s invoice if your friend stays for a full term. Please see terms and conditions for further details:

• You must have attended 2Step Dance for at least 1 year to be eligible for this promotion.

• Please ensure your friend writes your name on the “How did you hear about 2Step” section of enrolment form

• Students who are referred by you need to attend and pay for at least One full term.

• The discount to your fees will be applied to the next terms fees. For example if you bring someone to the studio in Term 1 your fee discount will be applied in Term 2.

• This does not apply to siblings of the studio
