Co-operative DAME (LADIES) is a social enterprise active in the field of sustainable tourism

and catering business and operates socially responsible. We provide catering services at our

premises »Gostilna pri DAMAH«, located in the city centre on the right bank of the River

Drava, at Ljubljanska 4, Maribor (former Mariborski dvor), opposite the main Medical Centre

entrance. We focus on Slovenian traditional, mostly local dishes, considering the season. Our

menus certainly incorporate contemporary culinary trends and offer wide selection of

vegetable and other vegetarian dishes. We also prepare gluten-free dishes. Various home-

made cakes, pies and strudels are baked in our kitchen. We bake home-made bread, which is

offered with our sandwiches or served alongside ordered dishes. We also make home-made

A century ago it was the main coffeehouse in Maribor, later a Casino and today a colourful

mixture of a concept shop presenting local designers, a café and an event venue hosting

literature, poetry, exhibitions, theatre, interesting discussions and concerts, mainly on

weekends. The ambient of the space is some kind a furniture museum dedicated to design,

representing Yugoslavian furniture and different objects from the 50's, 60's and 70's.
