Launch of Jonas Chorum PMS As part of our continued feature enhancements and investment in our future, we have decided to rebrand CloudPM. In this release, you will notice updated logos and branding – with CloudPM now becoming Jonas Chorum PMS. As you may recall, Jonas Software acquired MSI solutions back in 2016. As we move forward we have decided to incorporate the Jonas name in our Cloud solution, thus renaming CloudPM as Jonas Chorum. It’s also worth noting Jonas’ continued investment in the Hospitality Industry, soon you will see us add a POS to our offerings, with other software solutions slated for future releases. Given you are part of our Ambassador program, this confidential information is being shared with you and we ask that you not pass this message along to others in the industry. We plan to do a full announcement with the general release of this version in May. Outside of the name changing and the added investment we will receive from Jonas, nothing else will be changing. The same Executive team will be in place as well as your current points of contact in support and customer care. As always, we thank you for your continued support and thank you in advance for your confidentiality on this topic.

New Jonas Chorum Reservations Module The reservations module has been entirely re-written in cross-platform HTML5. Leveraging this new technology allows us to significantly improve performance, offer compatibility with more browsers and present a refreshed look and feel that considers your usability feedback. Please note – for this release, the module is considered in beta. During this period, customers will have the option to switch to the old reservations module using the toggle on the login page. We encourage all our customers to submit feedback for the redesigned reservation module so we can continue to improve before general release. The redesigned module includes the following highlights: New Check-In & Check-Out Processes

The Check-In and Check-Out flow has been redesigned to provide a single form with all the common options required during this process. This provides a simpler training experience, improved operational efficiency and a smoother guest experience. We encourage all our customers to submit feedback for the redesigned flows so we can continue to improve before general release.

Upsell Features The following functions are now available in the new HTML5 reservations module, to help you promote upsells and generate more revenue

• Upsell calculator on the rate quote screen allows you to quickly inform guests the difference to upgrade to the next room type

• Room type options during check-in allow your agents to quickly determine if an upgraded room type is available, and the price difference to propose to the geust

• Ability to quickly add special requests during check-in. These can be configured so you can include your most common upsell options on the main check-in form. To get started, navigate to GM Functions → Rooms & Rates → Special Requests and check the box marked ‘Upsell’ to choose which special requests will show by default during check-in.

Multiple rates on Rate Quote tool The Rate Quote tool has been re-designed to support returning the results from the top 5 rate codes in display code order. The rate code selection dropdown has also been enhanced to allow you to search for a specific rate code, or select multiple.

Assign Rooms on Reservations Dashboard

The list of arrivals on the (new) reservations dashboard now supports the assignment of rooms to each arrival directly on the list. Simply click on the ‘Assign’ button and select the appropriate room.

Priority Staff Notes (front office comments)

Front Office Comments have been renamed to Staff Notes to better indicate that these are not exposed to guests. At the same time, staff notes can now marked as ‘Priority’. These priority notes will automatically pop-up any time a reservation containing them is opened. This ensures that your team does not miss important notes on reservations. To get started, click on ‘Staff Notes’ on a reservation and check the box marked ‘Priority’

Additional Tracking Items on Reservations Change Log

The reservation change log has been enhanced to track changes to the following:

• Copied From status The change log will indicate when a reservation was created as a result of a ‘copy’ action from another reservation.

• Tax Exempt Changes to the following fields related to tax exemption will now be tracked:

o Start Date o End Date o Exempt Tax Codes o Tax Document # o Tax Exempt Reason Code

• Other Names Modifying any of the guest additional names that can be added to a reservation will now be tracked.?

Estimated Time of Arrival You can now add an Estimated Time of Arrival on a reservation. To get started, you must setup the time of arrival options under: GM Functions → Misc. Codes → Estimated Arrival

Once these have been setup, you can find a new dropdown on the reservations page that allows you to pick from these options. These will also appear on your housekeepers mobile assignments screen.

Room Chart Check-In and Check-Out The ability to check-in and check-out reservations has now been made

available directly on the room chart. This will function the same way as the quick check-in and check-out tools on the new reservations dashboard. To get started, simply click on a reservation on the room chart and click on the check-in icon (on reserved reservations) or the check-out icon (on in-house reservations).

Room Move The ability to move guests between rooms has now been added to the room chart. To get started, simply:

1. click on a reservation on the room chart and click on the room move icon .

2. Select the new arrival date and room number to move the reservation to.

3. Confirm your move by clicking the ‘Move’ button.

4. IF this move will require a rate change, a pop-up will appear informing you and asking you to accept the change.

Change Housekeeping Status Your team can now update the housekeeping status of any room number directly on the room chart screen. Simply click on the room number and that needs to be changed, and select the new housekeeping status.

Groups Rooming List Import This new feature will allow you to enter a rooming list in a CSV file, a format

supported by most spreadsheet programs (including Excel), and then import these reservations into Jonas Chorum PMS. To get set started:

1. Navigate to the rooming list page on a group and click on ‘Import Rooming List’

2. Click on ‘Export Blank Template’ to generate an empty CSV file, and then open in your preferred spreadsheet program.

3. Enter (or paste) the guest details into the spreadsheet in the exact format of the template, then save to your local hard drive.

4. Select ‘Select Import File’ on the pop-up in Jonas Chorum and then navigate to and select your saved rooming list file.

5. This will generate a preview of the reservations to be imported, and give you a chance to correct any values that could not be recognized.

6. Press ‘OK’ to complete your imported.

Reports Saved Report Parameters This new feature allows you to save multiple versions of the same report,

with your filters preferences, and run them in the future with a single click. The following reports are supported for this first release:

• Rate & Market Statistics

• Tax Exempt

• Booking Pace

• Guest Ledger

• Department Audit

• Special Request To get started, expand the ‘Saved Reports’ section in the Reports module and select ‘Create New’

You can then choose your report and the preferences you would like to save. Provide a name and press OK.

Your saved report will now appear in the reports menu and will run with your saved filter preferences. To edit, click on the + icon and select ‘Edit Parameters’ under the report you wish to change.

Run Saved Reports on a Schedule in Message Manager

The Message Manager has also been enhanced to support running your saved reports. This feature can be found under: GM Functions → Security and Permissions → Message Manager Before being able to use this feature, you must have e-mail configured for your property. Any users who would like to receive the report (by e-mail) need to also be configured in the ‘Distribution Groups’ section of GM Functions. This feature relies on the use of the Message Manager. For more information on Message Manager and Distribution Groups, or assistance setting up, please contact support. To setup a new report in Message Manager, create a new entry with the following values:

Run Saved Reports during Night Audit

All Saved Reports (see previous page) can be scheduled to automatically save during night audit. If you need more flexible scheduling options, these are also supported using the message manager (see feature on previous page). To save a report during night audit, simply check the box marked ‘Run and Archive report during Night Audit’ under your saved report parameters.

Alternatively, you can add them in night audit settings found under: GM Functions → Property Settings → Configure Night Audit.

Adjustments & Corrections Filter on Department Audit Report

The Department Audit reports can now be filtered to only show adjustments & corrections. To apply this filter, simply check the box marked ‘Adjustments & Corrections Only’

Housekeeping & Maintenance Needs Inspection / Rename Questionable Status

The ability to rename the ‘Questionable’ status to a name that best suits the operations of your hotel is now available. To do this, navigate to: GM Functions → Property Settings → Housekeeping And enter the name of your choice in the following field:

Please note that the system will continue to warn users when attempting to check guests into rooms under this housekeeping status (irrespective of it’s name).

Additional Customer Requests

Change Default # of Results to Return

You will now have the ability to configure the default number of results to return when searching for reservations and profiles. To change these preferences, navigate to: GM Functions → Property Settings → Default Settings → Search Defaults

Mobile

Vacant / Clean Room Permission A new permission titled ‘Make Room Clean / Vacant’ has been added to the role configuration in Jonas Chorum PMS.

This option can be found in: GM Functions → Security and Permissions → Security Roles On the roles assigned to your housekeepers;

• Uncheck this box is you do not want to allow housekeepers to mark a room as clean and vacant

• Check this box if housekeepers are allowed to mark the room as clean and vacant.

Housekeeping Supervisors

A new module titled ‘Housekeeping Supervisor’ has been added to the mobile app. This is for your supervisors to monitor the room assignments and progress of all their team members. It also allows supervisors to view a list of all rooms that need inspection (or are in questionable status). To get started, check the ‘Housekeeping Supervisor’ modules for all users that need it under: GM Functions → Security and Permissions → Security Users

When a use with this module logs into the mobile app, they will now be able to see the new module.

The title bar will allow your supervisors to flip between looking at all rooms, or just those of specific team members:

Re-designed Room List The room list in housekeeping has been enhanced to include additional details, such as:

• Estimated Arrival Time (if available)

• Next arrival due date

• Pre-Arrival / Registration status (when used with guest mobility interface)

• Last Clean Date (can be turned off in settings)

Additional Reports Mobile versions of two major Jonas Chorum PMS reports are now available. Swipe across the screen to flip between report pages, or e-mail them on demand.
