new vocations role; and for an increase in vocations to
the priesthood and religious life. To learn more about
vocations please visit www.dol.ca/vocations.
Priest Pension Collection Thank you for your generosity. Last month, our parish
took up a collection in support of our retired priests.
We have received many gifts in the collection basket
and online. Your charity and kindness are a sign of the
care and affection we feel for our faithful priests, who
have ministered to our spiritual needs for generations.
If you would still like to give to the Priest Pension
Fund, there is still time. Please continue to keep our
priests, both retired and active, in your prayers.

Welcome Father Christian Amogu
We formally welcome Fr. Christian into the Corpus
Christi Catholic Family and pray that the time he will
spend here will be fruitful for himself and a blessing
for the parishioners of Corpus.
Fr. Christian has been working as a co-worker here in
the parish - and has con-celebrated here since July 3
(arriving July 2nd) daily Eucharist, 4 Sunday celebra-
tions last weekend, 2 funerals and now on target as the
Associate Pastor of Corpus. We are thrilled with his
presence and his great personality.
We had a momentary glitch with a disruption of our
wifi system but everything is now on target.
When Fr. Christian said there was a problem with wifi -
I was hoping for a return of Fr. Chris because Fr. Chris
was an IT agent here—not ME!! So as is our norm - a
Welcome Reception is planned after all the liturgies on
Sat/Sun, July 27/28 for Fr. Christian - hope to see
“ya there”!!
