Only 20 minute scenic plane (by FlyMe domestic air) from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport and followed by a 05 minutes ride by fast dhoni boat from Maamigili Airport to Sun island. Most recent and brand new addition to Sun Island room inventory, 36 unique Sun Villas are designed with luxury and convenience to meet the ever growing expectations of modern travelers. Located in a carpet of lavish green, in a garden of various tropical flowers in front, Sun Villas boasts a style of its own.

Access to the beach area with a distance of 50 to 100 meters, it offers both the experience of living in a beautifully allocated garden and the beach not too far.

With an area of about 30 sqm, Sun Villas provide complete in facility including individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fan, IDD telephone, room safe, LED TV with satellite channels, iPod/iPad docking station, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities and daybed.

WaterBungalows (31.62 m2 / 340.39 sqft)

A wooden jetty leading out over the lagoon takes you this luxurious accommodation. Air-conditioning, hot & cold desalinated water, hair dryer, bidet, bath tub, mini bar, electronic safe, private sun deck, private stair case to the lagoon, satellite TV with in-house movies and internet access. IDD telephones both in room and bathroom with voice mail facility.

Presidential Suites (246 m² / 2648 sq. ft.)

The water Suites built either side of the far end of the jetties provides accommodation for those who want to spend their holiday in style. Each unit is made up of two bedrooms; one master bedroom furnished with a double bed and a twin bed room with en suite bathrooms, living room with private bar with tea and coffee making facilities and a large private terrace with a Jacuzzi and corner bath in both bathrooms, Hot & cold fresh water, hair dryer, bathtub and bidet. Baby cot on request, daily cleaning and Wake-up service.

" Maaniya (Main) Restaurant

Offer breakfast, lunch and dinner for the guests accommodated on full board, half board and All-inclusive terms. The beverage menu covers a wide choice of international wines, fresh and canned juices among other regular and premium beverages. And this restaurant caters to guest on board basis accommodated in the Beach Bungalows. Breakfast is served between 07:30-09:00hrs, Lunch between 12:30-14:00 hrs and Dinner 19:30-21:00 hrs.

Sun Star Restaurant - Thai Specialty

Sun Star Restaurant (Thai & Chinese Specialty) Located on our house reef at the end of our water bungalows. Offers a variety of snacks & food, afternoon coffee and tea Happy hour, seating on the terrace outside overlooking the house reef, fish watching and feeding. Open hours 10:00 - 23:00 hrs

Sports & Recreation: We provide a wide range of sports and recreational facilities with modern equipment and experienced instructors. These include Daylight & Floodlight tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Electronic games, Squash, Badminton, Billiard / Snooker, Table Tennis, Dart etc...A large swimming pool measuring 1800 square meters and children’s pool is set amidst exotic landscaping. It extends right to the edge of the lagoon. Towards the end of the pool is a swim-up bar.

The Water Sports Center of Sun Island is located on the East Side of the island. It has two toilets, two showers, a small terrace, and workshop, sail and surfboard racks are also available. On 20 meter distance there is the beach bar with view to the next door island.We have three English-speaking instructors to help you in your need and through the lessons. Rental catamaran and windsurfing, water-ski, knee boarding, banana riding, rental canoe’s (single & double) and Jet Ski riding are the activities offered.

Water Sports

Jets-ski trips and speedboat trips to the other islands also can be organized on request.
