Thank You

Thank you for all the comforting phone calls, texts, cards and all the prayers for myself and my family on the death of my grandfather. I am deeply appreciative and felt the wonderful love of my church family.

CANDLELIGHT, COOKIES & COCOA
Wed Dec 19 7:00 - 8:00 pm Auditorium
Dear Apartment Ministry Members, The Kingwood Church of Christ Apartment Ministry is one of the many things we have to be thankful for this holiday season. Having the apartment made all the difference in our time in Houston. It served as a refuge where Terri could rest and prepare for the next medical treatments. The furnishings were elegant and cozy. When we were under so much stress, it was a wonderful relief to find a fully and beautifully furnished home. Everything we needed was there! The crock pot and the fully equipped kitchen made it possible to come home to a hot, nourishing meal after the long days at the clinic.
Thank you all for your loving support. It made the long journey back to health so much easier to have such good, strong people of faith as part of our support network. We love you and will always be grateful that we met you. Thank you for the going away lunch and for the opportunity to meet so many of you in person.
With warmest regards — Terri Nelson & Gloria Nelson

Hello Friends,
My father, Donald Smith, passed away December 9th after a three-year battle with cancer. He was treated by the wonderful folks at MD Anderson and we were blessed to be ministered to by Mr. Jim Stewart & the apartment ministry. I can not thank you enough for all your prayers and work during what was unquestionably a difficult time for us. Your efforts helped us in more ways than you can possibly know. We are requesting that, as a charitable giving option in his memory, contributions be made to the Kingwood Church of Christ, in the hopes that other families can benefit similarly.
Thank you for everything and God bless — Paul Smith
