SMEs

• need inspiration to engage with ecodesign– non-standard drivers

• expect local knowledge from BSOs or intermediaries• benefit from long-term relationships (not dependency)

– negotiating risks, building capacity• benefit from partnerships

– industry as service provider• listen to appropriate language• require flexible financial support
