Advancements of the proposed model : 1. The proposed model is a compact digital model.

2. The model also replaces the bulkier trolleys with enhanced operation as it is interfaced with real time monitoring and control.

3. More simpler, effective and reliable synchronization is ensured at very low design cost.

4. Best suited for synchronization at multiple voltage levels

5. Depending on the healthiness of the system, it can be operated in manual or automatic mode.

6. Response time of the relay is less then 20ms, which makes it more efficient compared to the analog ones.

Project testing :

This project was tested and verified in a real time practical environment, by connecting the model to the bus bar protection panel of a 230 KV feeder at 400/230-110 KV substation at Alamathy, Chennai .

It is worthy to be noted that the model was demonstrated in the presence of all Engineers of Alamathy substation and 230KV Korattur substation and was certified to be a quality relay.

End note :

As per our objective, the proposed compact digital model has been proved to offer more enhanced operation as it is interfaced with real time monitoring, thereby ensuring simpler, effective and reliable synchronization at very low design cost.

We thank all our College faculties , mentors and field Engineers for guiding and motivating us throughout the course of project work .
