wealth of management expertise to SEP, Dr. Stocchi holds with in his

career portfolio a proven-track record of esteemed managerial skill

MECHANICAL WORKSHOP: Lending themselves to the development and

manufacture of company products, SEP utilizes the globe's up-to-the-minute

machinery in order to enable its workforces to assemble panels in

compliance to specification requested as well as standardized models.

company's spectrum of complex industrial operations. From its

Administration Departments through to the Design, Assembly and

Mechanical Workshop, the Painting Unit , the Quality Assurance ,

Inspection and the Service Department, SEP ensures that every level of

optimum level in the company's success and of course customer

DESIGN: Using the very latest in design technology software (Elecdes,

Paneldes, Autocad ,Photoshop), customers can be rest assured that SEP's

skilled engineers meet the needs of the customer's requirements

through its continual utilization of a fully modern computerized local-

area network SEP fosters passion when it comes to keeping abreast of

the update of new and key technologies which complement the

design work being implemented by our team (25 Engineers and 12

Draft men).

ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY WORKSHOP: Covering an enormous air-

conditioned space of 1250Sqm, which houses130 employees, the

assembly unit includes expert engineers and technicians who build the

electrical panels, including wiring, conduit and cable schedules as per

approved designs, we have also Plant (B) for ladies preparing the

materials used for electrical assembly like (wiring, ferruling, labels

and fiber optics connections),our production capacity is:150 panels

monthly.

PAINTING UNIT : Employing the very latest French (SAMES) and Italian technology for the automatic electro-static powder coating unit, we are able to support the solutions through the development and pretreatments of the panel's surface metal in order to protect it against erosion.

GASKET MACHINE : M/C use for making P.U gasket, for better IP protection and it can support IP -66 .

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND INSPECTIONS: Ensuring absolute quality,

panels are put through a number of stringent inspections in order to

maintain the quality our customers have come to expect from SEP. The

testing and inspection of all material received from both within and

beyond the company is mandatory. During the manufacturing process

further stringent tests are undertaken before being tested again at the

final stage of production according to the standards set both by us and

of course to the IEC and ISO standards

SERVICES & TRAINING DEPARTMENT: For the testing and

commissioning of substations, SEP offers a fully-qualified service. Its

expert team of qualified engineers utilizes the very best in

appropriate testing equipment, enabling the SEP team to carry out the

Our testing team includes a mixture of technical and

domain expertise relevant to the jobs we handle with our

clients. The team is properly structured, with defined roles

and responsibilities that allow the testers to perform their

functions with minimal overlap and without uncertainty

regarding which team member should perform which

duties. One way to divide testing resources is by

specialization in particular application areas and

nonfunctional areasWe have around 35 engineers specialized on test equipments like FREJA-300,

OMICRON CMC-256 Plus, Omicron CT Analyzer, Omicron CPC-100, Isa, Sverker ,

etc. and familiarize with advanced numerical relays of SEL, SIEMENS, ALSTOM , ABB, GE, etc., We do perform

complete substation testing and commissioning activities on control and protection panels and We have also

commissioned SAS systems in collaboration with SEL. Our engineers are also having vast experience in

commissioning the conversion of OHL to UGF circuits in the Kingdom.

Connector selection meets network requirements – We use all type of Fiber Optic

Connectors to terminate in LC, SC, ST and FC connector types, single mode or

multimode, and simplex or duplex to fit specific network density and transmission

speed requirements

Termination selection meets installation preferences –Fiber Optic Connectors are

available in field polish and pre-polished cam termination designs to provide

installation flexibility. Longer life cycle.

Assured performance and lifetime traceability of test data – All Patch Cords and Cable Assemblies are

factory terminated and 100% tested for insertion loss; single mode patch cords are also 100% tested for

return loss and endface geometry is 100% inspected.

ENCLOSURES: SEP control and protection panels are self-standings

simplex and duplex, independent extensible by functional units, which

can be installed as individual units or can be coupled together in an array.

STANDARDS FOR TESTING AND DESIGN: SEP is conformant with

IEC-255-4/5,IEC-189,IEC288.CLASS2,IEC688/9,IEC68-2-27,IEC76, IEC296,

IEC60871 CLASS28TO3, IEC60694, EC60071- 2, and IEC60529.

COMPONENTS: Single or double door arrangements are available. Apparatus can be mounted on the door and also on fixed type mounting plates. Transparent double door arrangements ideal for inspection which suit mounting of 9» rack systems for automation and PLCs are also available.

WIRING: Wiring of apparatus is done with PVC insulated control wires of

reputed brands. Special insulation wires are also available as an option.

Terminals blocks, protection relays, measurement and monitoring

apparatus are all as per Client specification.

switchgear assemblies (TTA); IEC604391-/VDE0660 part500/DIN41-

488/BS 5486/EN60439-1. (Resistant to accidental arcs according to IEC

1641, VDE0660part508), Earthquake phenomena: UBC/CBC &Internal

Arc with stand: AS3439/ 1; IEC529orDIN40050.

COMPONENTS: SEP enjoys the latest and finest products coupled with

technical support from Schneider Electric .The engineering department

is well equipped with the latest electrical design and CAD software

including SchneiderElectricecodialV3.13 LV short circuit and circuit

breaker. Selection software is complete with a fully computerized local

area network to handle jobs from tender, to preparation of the drawing

and to the bill of material

WIRING & COPPER BUSBAR: The wiring of the component is done

with PVC insulated wires of reputed brands.(Special requirement of

wires is also available).The copper busbar is done with a high quality of
