The proper choice of a track system depends on many factors. Each project, after all,

places different challenges. Which system is the best for a certain application? Is a ballasted or a

non-ballasted solution advisable? Sometimes a simple solution will lead faster to your goal – and

sometimes a sophisticated system is the better solution over the long run. In any case, T.O.J. Co.

can offer the appropriate solution: We help you to find the right way.

A track system by T.O.J. Co. is always a tailored solution, in which systems are adapted to

special requirements. Curves, bridges, fill sections, tunnels, and turnouts place the strictest of

requirements on the route. Foundation-soil characteristics have crucial consequences for planning.

What physical forces and environmental influences can be expected? How will the soil react to

operational loads over the long run? And: What logistics requirements must be considered during

construction? After all: optimization of the process chain is our primary goal, and this includes

construction-site access, transport paths, and material supply.

line react over the long term to rail operating loads, and how should we protect them? In downtown

2-4- Heavy-Haul Railways

Due to heavy axle loads and special operating conditions these railways require special

attention in track design. Although the applied track system in most of these railways is ballasted

track but special attention should be given to track elements such as rail grade and dimension,

sleeper type and spacing and high-duty fastening systems.

T.O.J. Co. has long experience in freight and mixed railways lines across Iran and is

willing to submit all valuable experience to its oversea client. Main track design criteria for us in

this field are availability, punctuality and safety.


2-5- Track Engineering Services

As an EPC contractor we have equipped ourselves with best track engineers and now we

are engaged in all track related project in all phases including feasibility studies, preliminary

design, basic design and detail design. Also our services are extended to track construction

management and supervision.

Our engineers have a long-term experience in Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz, Isfahan and Ahvaz

urban railways and currently are supervising the track construction in Shiraz and Isfahan.

Superstructure and Track Laying of Tehran Metro Line 3:

This project includesthe following main scope of works by which is left to the company:

Procurement of required rail to fulfill the project needs(TadbirOmran e Jam is

responsible for Procurement of 5000 tons of UIC 54E-1 rails.)

Procurement of fastener parts (including steel rail seats, large pad, small pad,

springs, different types of screws, welding materials and etc.)

Providing human source and required machinery.

Production of prefabricated ducts for tunnel facilities as well as transportation and

implementation beside of track superstructure.

Rail joints welding by thermit process.

Receiving of turnout and crossovers from TUSRC and implementation in slab track.

Superstructure and Track Laying of North part of Tehran Metro Line 1(Tajrish Station) is

one of the challenging superstructure projects and We’ve used a 80 meter height shaft to access tunnel for

concreting slab.

Superstructure construction and track laying of KollahDouzDepot(Tehran Metro Line 4 Depot)

KollahDouz Depot supposed to be the end depot of Tehran metro Line 4 in which all levels of

line 4 rolling stock maintenance are performed. Procurement of all track parts (including sleepers,

fasteners, ballast, welding and etc) as well as providing human resource, construction machinery,

track laying and construction of all tracks in depot area are left to TadbirOmran e Jam Company.

Superstructure construction and track laying of Tehran-Tabriz underground tunnel

By this contract Iran railways examined the first slab track in their underground tunnels.

The main scopes of works are as follows:

1- Procurement of 4000 tons of E60 rails.

2- Production of di-block sleepers.

3- Procurement of fastener parts.

4- Construction of slab tracks and ballasted tracks.

5- Welding process and other complementary works.
