TA IYOU&C. はデザイン会社である小林幹也スタジオが 2016 年にスタートしたブランドです。私が独立する以前に設計事務所で働いていた時代、更に魅力的なコントラクト向けの木の家具が存在すればと何度も思ったものです。新ブランド TAIYOU&C. を立ち上げたのは、そうした家具を作るためです。オフィスや病院、ホールなどに適した椅子は、数多く並べても空間に馴染む形でないといけません。心地よく座れるだけでなく、立ったり座ったりが楽にできることも重要です。スタッキングできることも欠かせません。木には人を癒す力があると言われています。ストレスの多い今の時代にあって、コントラクト向けの木の家具は、現代社会に強く求められているものではないでしょうか。そして、よいコントラクト向けの家具は、ホームユースでも長くつき合えるパートナーとなるはずです。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　クリエイティブディレクター　小林幹也

1981 年東京都生まれ。インテリアデザイン会社を経て独立。デザインの範囲は家具、日用品、家電製品から空間まで多岐にわたる。クライアントと共に創り出す暮らしに根差した、空間に溶け込むデザインは定評がある。匠工芸の家具コレクション「YAMANAMI」で世界的に注目される存在に。TAIYOU&C. のデザインディレクターを務める。

1976年兵庫県生まれ。家電メーカー勤務を経て独立。家具、家電製品、日用品から自動車まで多岐にわたる製品のデザインを手掛け、国内外にクライアントを持つ。「素材の特性を活かし、新しい構造へ挑戦する姿勢」から生まれる明快な造形表現は高く評価されている。代表作は arf lex の椅子「JK」。

1962年フランス生まれ。アーティストとしの経験を経て、1990年代初めよりデザイン活動を開始。彼の形と色の研究は Galerie Kreo、Hay、Alessi、Ligne Roset、Hermès Maisonなどの有名なクライアントとの仕事に表れている。また彼の作品は世界中の多くの展示会やミュージアムコレクションに選定されている。パリで開催される世界最大級のライフスタイル見本市「メゾン・エ・オブジェ」にて、2017年のデザイナー・オブ・ザ・イヤーを受賞。

マスターウォールの母体であるアカセ木工は、1961 年婚礼箪笥メーカーとして岡山県笠岡市で創業。その後、岡山県口郡に工場を移転。1999 年にウォールナット無垢材を使用したテーブル、WILDWOOD を発売。2006 年にオリジナルブランド「MASTERWAL」を設立し、「100 年後のアンティーク家具へ」のコンセプトのもと、ウォールナット無垢材にこだわった、永く愛着を持って使える製品を受注生産で製造。ダイニング・リビング・ベッドルームの家具をトータルで展開している。

円形の座面、前後に開く脚、それを囲い込むアームと背板。この椅子を構成するすべてのパーツが座面横の一箇所で固定された構造のアームチェア。名前の「キーストーン」は、この全体を一点で支える「要」のこと。個性的な形でありながら、スタッキングも可能。

座面がクローバーの形状をしたスタッキングスツール。三つ葉（3 本脚）と四つ葉（4 本脚）、高さの違う子供用があります。クローバーは見る者を幸せな気分にするもの。野原で幸運を運んでくれるクローバーを探すように、三つ葉と四つ葉の椅子を混ぜて数多く並べるのはきっと楽しいはず。

垂直な部材と水平な棚板によって構成された空気のように軽やかな佇まいを持つ組立式のオープンシェルフ。前面にはスライド式のパネルを取り付けることができ、見せる収納と隠す収納を使い分けることができる。中央の柱はこのシェルフにリズムを与え、お気に入りの本などを立てかけ、飾る収納としての機能を持つ。シェルフは一台のみでなく、複数並べて使っても美しい佇まいを実現している。広い空間を軽やかに仕切るスクリーンとしても使用可能。
