The hydraulic Tamtron timber crane scale is designed for fast paced, dynamic weighing while working. The scale uses the crane’s hydraulic oil in its own independent, closed circuit. Weighing data is precise due to the small volume of the crane’s hydraulic hose and low system pressure at the transducer.

The scale instrument records the handled material by bundle and in total. The memory structure is highly efficient: one can either insert titles for the memory slots or download the ready-made text file of forestry companies. Data transfer is available in several formats, e.g. in XML and PRL. The instrument is compact and easily detaches from its magnetic clip.

Instrument’s effective functionalities include

– Fast update of programmes, userinformation, and materials withthe USB flash driver.

When printing the receipt, options are several: via USB flash drive as a text file, with a printer (optional accessory), or by data transfer with radio modems directly into the vehicle’s onboard computer. Receipts contain the company’s contact details, the date, and the weighing data grouped into memory slots.

Tamtron Timber for timber trucksThe capacity is 99 tonnes. Weighing can be registered with a press button or by automatic function. Standard delivery includes the press button. Cranes with electric power steering can be equipped with a separate foot pedal for registering the weighing.

Tamtron Bioenergy for forwardersThe capacity is 9 999 tonnes - the instrument can register even the largest stands marked for cutting. Data files can be easily transferred from the scale to a computer. For this model, standard delivery includes a foot pedal for registering the weighing.

Robust weighing link of high qualityTamtron weighing link is the result of development and co-operation with the leading rotator manufacturers. Correct measurements with the high quality bearings guarantee a long operating life. Tamtron weighing link comes in several sizes and models. The range goes up to 25 000 kg.

The standard weighing link has a 3 tonnes capacity. It fits the majority of cranes. The standard axle measurements for upper part are Ø45 / 80mm and for lower part Ø35 / 80mm. (height CC 320 mm). Other sizes are available for quotation. Additional parts include a swing brake, which can be fitted for all available weighing links.

Tamtron offers models that are especially designed for timber trucks and forwarders to meet their specific needs in weighing timber.
