Teach Primary School Chinese in London with the aid of a series of three books written by Marcus Reoch and Anne Martin. The books emphasize on Chinese speaking and Chinese calligraphy with continuously revised and reinforced chapters.

Special features of the series:

About the language- These explanations about the language structures are detailed and comprehensive, and no grammar points are glossed over or left out.

Listen and speaking activities- The speaking and listening activities are presented in pinyin romanisation to help students concentrate on producing the correct sounds of the language. Because of this structure , students learning of spoken Mandarin will not depend on their level of reading and writing Chinese Characters.

Reading activities- Students are encouraged to read Chinese without pinyin prompts. Each chapter has a manageable number of 'core chapter' to learn , while other characters are shown in pinyin.

Culture- Information about Chinese culture is integrated into the textbook, including special section which address imported aspects modern China.

Sounds and tones- The textbook has a section of each chapter devoted to 'sound and tones', encouraging an attention to detail in pronunciation of the language.

Amazing chapters- These section show how China's fascinating script evolved into amazing characters we see today.

Putting it together- These section in each chapter encourage flexibility in the use of the language and provide a challenge for more adventurous learner.

The stroke orders- Core chapters all have 'stroke order diagram' to show students how to write the chapter correctly.

Revision exercise- These exercise review material form earlier chapters, and can also be used by teachers as a unit test.

Now you can- This section at the end of each chapter summarises the most important points in the chapter and is useful for revision.
