From the Teacups and Teapots - Cream (Backing), cut:• (2) 62” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 62” x 62” back.

Quilt Top Assembly (Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top. The arrows in the quilt layout represent the fabric print direction. Pay attention to the fabric direction when assembling the quilt top.)5. Sew (7) assorted blocks together to make (1) row. Repeat to make (7) rows total.
6. Sew the (7) rows together to make the Center Block.
7. Sew (1) 2” x 42 ½” Fabric Q strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 45 ½” Fabric Q strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.
8. Sew (1) 5” x 45 ½” Fabric R strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 5” Fabric P square to each end of (1) 5” x 45 ½” Fabric R strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.
9. Layer and quilt as desired.
10. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric I strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.
11. Bind as desired.

Block Assembly1. Place (1) 2 ⅞” Fabric B square on top of (1) 2 ⅞” Fabric A square, right sides together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (Fig. 1). Sew ¼” away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 1). Cut the (2) squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 2) to make (2) half-square triangles. Trim the half-square triangles to measure 2 ½” square to make (2) Unit 1 squares (Fig. 3). Repeat to make (64) Unit 1 squares total. Note: Only (63) squares will be used.
2. Repeat Step 1 and refer to Figures 4-10 for fabric identification and placement to make (64) Unit 2 squares, (64) Unit 3 squares, (54) Unit 4 squares, (64) Unit 5 squares, (64) Unit 6 squares, (46) Unit 7 squares and (28) Unit 8 squares. Note: Not all blocks are used.
3. Sew (9) Unit 1 squares together into a 3 x 3 matrix, paying attention to the orientation of the units, to make (1) Block One square (Fig. 11). Repeat to make (7) Block One squares total.
4. Repeat Step 3 and refer to Figures 12-18 for component identification, placement and orientation to make (7) Block Two squares, (7) Block Three squares, (6) Block Four squares, (7) Block Five squares, (7) Block Six squares, (5) Block Seven squares and (3) Block Eight squares.
