Both new and returning raters will calibrate◦ All certified ESL teachers will need to calibrate whether
you have ESL students this year or not. There are three sets of online calibration activities. Each calibration set contains 10 students to rate,
and all holistically assessed language domains are represented in each set. (Refer to your PLDs)◦ For K–1: listening, speaking, reading, and writing◦ For 2–12: listening, speaking, and writing
A rater needs to rate at least 70 percent of the students correctly to demonstrate sufficient calibration.
Turn in certificate to Kami for calibration (all) and course completion (new rater)
