With a crystal clear aim to elevate the standard of education in the technical and professional fields across the north region, TERI (Technology Education & Research Institution) was brought into existence in the year 2007 by the GYANKUND TRUST TO EDUCATE AND TO SERVE. Initially, what started off, as only an Engineering College, it took a shape of an educational campus in a span of just one year, with the addition of MBA, PETI (Polytechnic Education & Training Institute) and Pre-Engineering.

Now, TERII (Technology Education & Research Integrated Institutions) stands tall at the state Kaithal - Kurukshetra highway - the holy land, just 9 Km away from Kurukshetra University, and 2 Kms from Jyotisar Temple (The place where Lord Krishna gave sermon to Arjuna) where the sprawling lush green lawns welcome you to this stupendous abode of education that spreads over a land of 20 acres in area. TERII is the ultimate hub for all those who want to be conferred with integrated quality education from pre-school to post-graduate level under the guidance of dedicated, qualified and experienced faculty and with infrastructural support like Spacious Class rooms, Computer Centre with internet facility, State-of-the-art air-Conditioned Library, Well-equipped Laboratories, Industry like Work Shops, Hostels, Conference Halls, Communication Labs, Drawing Halls and much more.

With a well thought '360 degree feedback' system and the continuous monitoring of the students' progress throughout the year, TERII ensures that the students, besides receiving knowledge and skills relevant to their respective courses, are also provided with intellectually stimulating, challenging and enjoyable learning experiences for their overall personality development including the inculcation of social and moral values in them. To achieve this, we have with us, both in-house experts and guest faculty and not to mention, a separate 'Career Services' Cell with an expert Counsellor.

Stress is a part of day-to-day living of every individual. The college students may

experience stress in meeting the academic demands, people on the job, business

men may suffer stress to reach office in time and to complete the projects on time

and even the house hold ladies may experience stress in managing the home

affairs and to look for the maid servant. The reasons for the stress differ from

person to person. The stress people experience should not be necessarily

treated as harmful. An optimum amount of stress can always act as an energizer

or motivator. But a high level of Stress can be a serious threat to the personality

traits of the Individual and can cause physiological and social problems. So it's

the time to say goodbye to stress. Some tips for reducing stress are:

Expressive Writing

Start writing from today Write an angry letter that May later burn; you can also write Short stories that express your feelings and emotions.

Meditation

Focus on the present moment and gently prevent your mind from fixating on past events or future fears, it's much easier to let go of negative emotions surrounding these things

Change Your Thoughts

If you perceive a situation to be a 'threat,' you will have a different emotional (and therefore physical) response than if you viewed the same situation as a 'challenge.' so change your thought

Add a Hobby

Actively get involved in doing something that will take your mind off of what's stressing you.

Do an inventory of friends

Make a list of good Friends, and Share your emotions and feelings with them.

Stop killing time

Do something productive, stop wasting time. Give a new way to your life Listen, you have entered in New Year, and you are not getting any younger. You may have lost so many opportunities. As a reader of my newsletter, you are important to me. I can't stand by and watch you in stress. That's why I am encouraging you to find out "where you are" and start taking action to change your life. Take my advice. Start writing, do meditation, change your thought, Inventory your friends and stop killing time.

Say goodbye to stressRitu Narwal - Lecturer, Department of Management Sciences

Educational trip to International Trade Fair at Delhi on 22nd Nov.2009.

You are one of your best guides. No one can

teach as good to you as you yourself can. Why

we always depend on the views of other? Do

what ever your soul like but which is not

harmful to anyone else. Teach yourself, learn

from yourself, Criticize yourself and than see

the change in your life. You know sun can give

its light to you if you want but if you will close

yourself in a dark room than not even a single

ray can make your life bright. No one can

understand you better than yourself because

you are more than what you think. So never

judge your personality on the arguments of

others but set an example before others that yes,

you are the one who can lead your life to the

ladder of success yourself.

Monu Nagpal - Lecturer in Applied Sciences

You are more than you think yourself
