MAJESTIC MOMENTS

Father’s Day is a time to reflect on the memories made with the most important role model in one’s life.

In lieu of Father’s Day, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur treated a lucky winner of ‘Share the Moment, Win the Memories #MyFatherMyHero’ Instagram photo contest to an exclusive 5-course dinner at the Colonial Café for 6 persons.

Ms Zahara Atika won the best photo of her fondest memory with her father. We gladly hosted Ms Zahara Atika and her family to celebrate Father’s Day the Majestic Way.

It is the time of the year once again to reunite and rekindle among friends and families through solidarity at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur. This Festive Season, it is our pleasure to have some local celebrity friends like Deanna Yusoff, Sazzy Falak, Stars from Ola Bola in joining us to savour the Majestic Festive Banquet featuring the best of Malaysia’s Nine Royal states recipes.

PLACES

PUTRA MOSQUE

The pink-domed Putra Mosque is constructed with rose-tinted granite and can accommodate 15,000 worshippers at any one time. The basement wall of the mosque resembles that of the King Hassan Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco.

The mosque consists of three main functional areas - the prayer hall, the Sahn, or courtyard, and various learning facilities and function rooms. The prayer hall is simple and elegant, supported by 12 columns. The highest point below the dome is 250 feet above ground level.

The Sahn, landscaped with several decorative water features and bordered by colonnades, provides a huge yet welcoming and beautiful prayer space.

Its impressive minaret is influenced by the design of the Sheikh Omar Mosque in Baghdad. At 116m, it is one of the tallest minarets in the region and has five tiers, representing the Five Pillars of Islam.
