DAZZLING SEVENTH GRADE DANCE GET YOUR DANCING SHOES ON, IT’S PARTY TIME!!!!! THE SEVENTH GRADE END-OF-YEAR DANCE WILL BE HELD ON MAY 27TH 7 P.M.-11 P.M., IN THE HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA. ADMISSION IS $2 PER TICKET. THERE WILL BE PUNCH, FINGER SANDWICHES AND THE DECORATIONS WILL PUT A SPARKLE IN YOUR EYE. STUDENTS MUST DRESS NICE FOR THIS THRILLING NIGHT (NO T-SHIRTS)!!!! THE THEME IS “A NIGHT TO REMEMBER” AND TRUST ME YOU WILL REMEMBER THIS PRICELESS NIGHT. THE THEME WAS CHOSEN BECAUSE THE INVENTORS THOUGHT IT WOULD BE PERFECT. BY THE WAY THE INVENTORS OF THIS GROOVY DANCE ARE MORGAN HODGES AND KATLYN ANDERSON. THE GIRLS THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT THEY HAD DONE IN THIS CRAZY FANTASTIC SEVENTH GRADE YEAR AND REALIZED THEY HAVEN’T HAD A DANCE. THEY SOUGHT OUT TO CONVINCE MRS. GIBBS FOR A PARENT SPONSORED DANCE. WHEN IT WAS TIME TO SHOW MRS. GIBBS THEIR PLAN THEY DWELLED ON THE POSITIVE INSTEAD OF THE NEGATIVE. BUT WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE NEGATIVE ABOUT THIS MAGICAL DANCE? The last W ortham batter swings, and misses. “Strike one!” calls the umpire. He swings at the ball again, and misses. “Strike two!” called the umpire. The pitcher takes a deep breath. He cranks his arm back and throws the ball. the batter swings, but he’s just a tad late! “Strike three, batter’s out!” the umpire yelled. Dawson wins! After losing to Wortham last time, Dawson pulled through! “We played really well, especially since Wortham has a really good J.V. team. Another plus was it was the last game of the year. It was a great way to finish the season,” J.V. Baseball Coach, Gary Kay boasted about his astounding team.
