    A further highlight for Zurich

    The Dolder Grand is the perfect environment for

    people who are looking for pleasure, exclusivity and

    relaxation. Since 1899, the Dolder Grand has

    established itself as a luxury-class city resort. The

    Hotels elevated location between pulsating city

    and invigorating nature provides a magnificent view

    of the city of Zurich, the lake and the Alps.

    We want our guests to enjoy personal moments of

    joie de vivre, and it is at our events that such

    moments are most abundant. Blessed with the gifts,

    creativity and inventiveness of our Chef Fine Dining

    Heiko Nieder, establishing a gourmet festival was an

    automatic and natural step. Thus, in Septem-

    ber 2014, THE EPICURE Days of Culinary Master-

    pieces was born.

    Successful premiere

    We are deeply proud that 12 international master

    chefs, including the 3-Michelin-starred chefs

    Benot Violier, Massimo Bottura and Joachim Wissler,

    took up our invitation to join us at THE EPICURE.

    From 18 to 21 September 2014, 550 guests visited

    the Dolder Grand to indulge in the culinary delica-

    cies and savour the outstanding wines. The response

    was universally positive, and Zurich had gained a

    further gourmet highlight.

    The right concept

    THE EPICURE brings together elite chefs with partners

    and suppliers of exclusive, high-quality products

    for a unique culinary experience at the Dolder Grand.

    Over the four days of the festival, there are a variety

    of platforms for partners, sponsors and participants

    to play a prominent role and raise their profile.

    2015 THE EPICURE continues

    At the heart of international haute cuisine

    A successful premiere demands an encore, and from

    17 to 20 September 2015, Heiko Nieder will welcome

    guests to the second edition of THE EPICURE Days

    of Culinary Masterpieces.

    The Chef Fine Dining at The Restaurant at the Dolder

    Grand, awarded 2 Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau

    points, will again be inviting top chefs from around

    the world to join him in Zurich. Together, they form

    the basis of the whole event and the guarantee

    that over all four days of the second edition of the

    festival, THE EPICURE will once again be a true

    culinary highlight.

    The Evenings

    Over the course of three evenings, guests in The

    Restaurant will enjoy an exclusive 8-course dinner

    prepared by Heiko Nieder and one guest chef.

    The Private Dining Room at The Restaurant offers

    an exclusive setting in which to entertain select

    invited guests during the festival.

    The gourmet restaurant stands for a dining experi-

    ence in a stylish ambience: walls covered in silver leaf,

    works by renowned artists, an impressive, fully

    restored historic ceiling, all accompanied by exclusive

    interior design.

  • 05The Masterclasses

    On Saturday afternoon, we will be showcasing a

    series of culinary delights in our Masterclasses.

    Guests can learn the secrets of the professionals,

    sample delectable delicacies and compare notes

    with like-minded passionate gourmets. The sessions

    will be dedicated to exploring wine, champagne,

    cheese and cocktails, to name but some of the

    subjects on display. The Masterclasses will be held

    in various locations at the Dolder Grand.

    The Final

    THE EPICURE will come to an end on Sunday with

    a grand finale. At 11 food stations in the Gallery

    and the Gallery Lounges (covering an area of

    1,000 square metres), each of the guest chefs will

    demonstrate his craft with exclusive products such

    as lobster, caviar or Wagyu beef. Distinguished top

    chefs will be invited to Zurich, all of whom have

    made a name for themselves through their innova-

    tion and pioneering creativity.
