That is why we want to share with you what your child experiences each day. We know you will enjoy your journey as you travel from class to class, experiencing the sights and sounds of the ‘Land of Lehrman.’ Passport to Learning (Back to School Night) Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 at LCDS ECD-Grade 5 • 6:30-8:00 p.m. Middle School • 6:00-8:00 p.m. There will be a special presentation on the International Baccalaureate (IB) Humanities and Language A Middle School Programs from 6:00-6:30. Passport to Learning will begin immediately following the presentation. Here is a peek into how to navigate your journey: 1. As you begin the adventure, you will receive your child’s Passport at the ‘customs agents’. 2. Check your map to find your child’s classes. 3. At each stop along your journey, see what your child will be learning this year. 4. In each classroom, there will be a station where you will receive a ‘visa’ sticker to validate your visit. 5. Do not forget to speak with Head of School Rabbi Seth Linfield, who will also stamp your passport(s). He will be walking around the school; however, should you miss him on your travels, he will be in the lobby near the end of the evening. 6. Be sure to experience the Lehrman Landscape, located in the cafeteria. 6. Before you head home (do not forget to visit the PA Book Fair!) stop by our ‘customs agents’ who will exchange your passport for a gift. Enjoy and Learn!
