The new Learning and Development Pathways for RCN Representatives
Purpose of the Future Activist Programme To develop a UK-wide framework which will
facilitate consistency in representatives’ learning and development across the four countries.
Each pathway (steward, safety rep and learning rep) will be based upon the agreed RCN role descriptors and the appropriate ENTO standards which will be mapped to the role descriptors.

Design and implement a UK mentorship programme as part of the above that enable RCN representatives to be mentored in role to demonstrate their competence
Build a vibrant RCN learning reps community through union learn funding and share the learning across the UK
