November 20133rd Malton Forest RallyOne of the best “Club” events of the year. Traditionally a shakedown for the Roger Albert. This year with the RAC being earlier the MFR could suffer entry wise, however with hardly any RAC forest stages in Yorkshire the MEF could win through with approximately 40 miles of classic Yorkshire stages in Langdale, Cropton and Gale Rigg.

8th- 10th Roger Albert Clark RallyThree days of Classic rallying reproducing the golden age of the Lombard RAC and Mintex rallies. 2013 is the 10th anniversary of the Roger Albert yet sees the reduction of the traditional Yorkshire Forest stages with only night runs through the Dalby Forest Complex, and Duncombe Park and Croft circuit on the Saturday, All are spectator stages – David & Robin not available for this event

23rd Hall TrophyOrganised by Clitheroe & District Motor Club and run on Blyton Park Drtving Centre near Gainsborough in Lincolnshire. The Hall Trophy is the second leg of the Blyton Rally Challenge, the final part being the Lincoln Green in December.

December 20137th Lincoln Green Stages RallyOrganised by Lindholme Motorsports Club and run on Blyton Park Driving Centre near Gainsborough in Lincolnshire. The Lincoln Green is the third and final leg of the Blyton Rally Challenge

The Blyton Rally Challenge is a series of three events comprising the Jack Neal Memorial Rally, the Hall Trophy, both organised by Clitheroe and District Motor Club and culminating with the Lincoln Green organised by Lindholme .

28th Christmas Stages RallyTwixt Turkey and Hogmanay the Christmas Stages starts the 2014 keep (get) fit regime. Organised by Northallerton Auto Club and run on the North of Englands only motor racing circuit , at Croft on Tees, Near Darlington famous as being a round of the BTTC.

Osian Pryce, Winner 2013

Saturday 28th September finds Team PG in Dalby Forest, though several of the team had also turned out for the Friday “Night” stages. We are allotted junctions 21/22/23 working with “Lace 6” on 21.

We had a fairly uneventful day save one or two cars that stepped the back end out at 21, as witnessed opposite.

The Yorkshire contingent of teams seemed to do well though Ollie Mellors was reported to have rolled and suffered a broken leg – get well soon Ollie!

Unfortunately with being on Dalby we missed out on the historics, as they didn’t come through this stage.

Osian Pryce, ppictured opposite, was overall winner of the event, which greatly enhances his bid for British Rally Championship 2013.

Organised by Malton Motor Club the “Stivie” was a restricted entry event of only 30 cars. Team PG did not actually attend this event though Robin went along as a spectator.

Re-living the Crystal and Three Swans rallies of yesteryear the “Stivie” was run over the stubble fields on the Stephensons Farm at Goodmanham.

It was a well organised event, blessed by glorious autumnal sunshine, though cool. I suspect it could have been very different had we had a typical British summer, The event was superbly catered for by the Stephenson family.

It would be nice to think that events such as this could be a regular addition to the local calendar, this, of course, would be subject to a low entry fee and, it goes without saying, the Great British weather.

Average attendance of 7.6 people over 11 events

Due to financial constraints and other commitments this has not being our greatest year! However add in the five events still scheduled it actually will not be too bad.
