Happy Birthday Mrs Lock

There was much excitement as the children made icing and then decorat-

ed Mrs Lock’s cake with frogs.

A special cake for a special friend and teacher.

Mrs Lock even managed to blow out all of her 9 candles.

My Special Day Out

On Tuesday Charlotte, Phoebe and I went to Lou’s house. We played with the puppies.

Lou had picked us up from school.

Amy - Kinder

On Tuesday we went to Ag-Quip. We waited in the car because daddy was paying the bills.

Mummy said “It will take five minutes to get to Ag-Quip. “ We finally got to Ag-Quip. We

jumped out of the car. We walked to the gate. First we saw some horses. Then I saw a

baby horse. I saw a big shed. Then we looked at motor bikes, one fit me! Then we saw

lots of fish. Blake wanted to see the trucks, but mum said no! I was getting hungry, lucky

mum packed us recess. I had a muesli bar. Then we looked at tractors. Then we went to

see some more stuff. We got new hats, they are made of straw. We got a new football. I

paid one dollar for a football.

Emily - Year 3

On Tuesday we went to Louie’s house. When we got to Louies we went straight to the pup-

pies. There used to be four puppies, some puppies went to new homes, some puppies

died. Three puppies stayed at Louies. We have our own puppies. Amy’s puppy is a girl

puppy, it is a fat puppy. Phoebe’s puppy is a little boy. My puppy is a little girl. Amy’s pup-

py is called Fat Fat. Phoebe’s puppy is called Tom Tom. My puppy is called Lilly.

Charlotte - Year 1

On Tuesday we went to Ag-Quip. We saw some fish.

Nick - Kinder

On the weekend we went to Sydney to Luna Park. Luna Park is at North Sydney. When we

got to Sydney we went straight to Luna Park. At Luna Park it was very busy because there

were hardly any car parks left. So we went around and around and then I found one be-

cause there was a car that was leaving. So we went around one more time because it takes

a while to get the other car’s seat belts on. They left and we got the car park and it was

hard to park in there. We got out and went to the elevator. When we got in there we

pressed the button and it took us up to Luna Park. We had to go in the line to get the

bands.

Phoebe - Year 3
