Welcome to Faith Church, where our purpose is to share the good news of God’s love made known in Jesus Christ.

We hope you’ll join us following worship in Fellowship Hall for beverages, snacks, and fellowship.

Worship

In the pulpit We are pleased to welcome Rev. Joanne Marchetto as our

One Great Hour of Sharing Sharing Resources and Changing Lives

OGHS, started in 1949, is one of the oldest ecumenical efforts to raise funds for the betterment of communities. What started as an hour-long radio appeal has evolved into the most participated Special Offering in the PCUSA. 60% of the congregations participate and projects supported by the OGHS reach more than 100 countries.

A gift to OGHS enables the church to share God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world by providing relief to those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and helping to empower the poor and oppressed.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (32% of offering)—With our OGHS offerings, PDA is able to support our Lehigh Presbytery Helping Hands team, Project Homecoming in New Orleans, and other groups in bringing hope and healing to disaster-torn communities throughout our nation and world.

Presbyterian Hunger Program (36% of offering)—The PHP is able to help groups establish community gardens in food deserts like downtown Detroit and New Orleans.

Self Development of People (32% of offering)—The SDOP partners with people and communities with tools for development and education to alleviate poverty, oppression and injustice.

Faith Presbyterian Church will receive the OGHS offering on Palm

Sunday, March 20. In 2015, we received $5,669.49, with 39 people/families. Can we increase our percentage in 2016?

Outley House—March 26

Faith Church began a new monthly outreach program in January of this year, preparing a meal for the residents at Outley House in Philadelphia. New volunteers are always welcome!

Outley House is a drug rehab center for men of all ages, where residents are treated for drug-related issues.

Meet at the church at 8:00 AM to carpool.

Return approximately 2:30 PM.

The next trip to Outley House is March 26, and new volunteers are always welcomed to help with this community outreach program. If you’d like to volunteer to be a part of rewarding experience, please call Richard Smith (484-515-3368) or Bob Durn (610-928-0020).
