The Ph.D. program in Nanoscience and Technology is a joint effort of the Faculty of Science and Metallurgy and Materials Research Institute of Chulalongkorn University, to offer a high-level research and education in nanoscience and technology. The Nanoscience is the study of phenomena on a nanometer scale. Our course structure is based on research topics within the field of nanotechnology. All are offered in English. The scientific publications are required as a basic requirement for the dissertation.

Nanoscience and Technology program is a multidisciplinary program which interlinking university's research institutes such as metallurgy and material research institute and faculties such as science, engineer, college of petroleum and petrochemistry, pharmacy and medical school. Students have a flexibility to choose their thesis's topics and advisors from staff members of any of these faculties and research institutes.

Admission and Requirement

Applicants must hold either Bachelor or Master Degree in Science of

Engineering or related filed of studies. The admission requires a result

from a standard English test and interview by program committees.
