TSST stands for Teacher Subject Specialism Training.

The TSST course will:

- improve the maths subject knowledge of non-specialist teachers throughschool-led teacher subject specialism training opportunities. This is specificallyfor:- non-specialist teachers who could teach maths in addition to their mainsubject.- Teachers, including those at KS2, who want to retrain as maths teachers.- Provide greater support to teachers wishing to return to the profession throughaccess to subject specialism training courses.

The year course will develop your mathematical knowledge and give you aninsight into the distinctive pedagogy that occurs within mathematics. We aspirethat by the end of the year you will be able to teach mathematics up to andincluding KS4.
