m s$ MR. AND MRS. WM. VANDER ZANDEN Miss Susan Lynn Titus and William Henry VanDer Zanden were married Saturday morning, July 5, in Holy Family Church, Sparta. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mr*. Roy A. Titus of Spar- ta. The bridegroom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. lieiu-y VanDer Zan- den of Casnovla. Rev. Fr. S. L. Betka performed the ceremony before an altar arranged with white gladioli, pompons and blue daisies flanked by candelabra. Mrs. Clarence Trudell was organist and accompanied her daugh- ter. Rita, who was soloist. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore B floor-length gown with tulle bodice, designed with V nechlinc and short sleeves outlined with scolloped j< we'ed lace. The bouffnnt skirt over ruffles of tulle was finished with lace trimmed panels. Her fingertip veil of French Illusion fell from a crown of orange blossoms and tulle petals. Mrs. Rarth Frwland, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor. She wore a ballerina length dress of wnite lace over tiers of tulle und pale blue taffeta, designed with fitted bodice, .square ne< kline, short puff sl«*evex and bouffant skirl. Miss Shirley Ann VanDer Zanden. sister of the groom, was maid of honor and Mlsr Dlanne Frank was bridesmaid. Douj'.las Weston, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man and Arlan Lundquist and Carl M. Anderson were ushers. Mrs. Titus chose u petal pink lace sheath with white accessories and wore a corsagv ai white carnations. Mrs. VanDer Zanden wore navy blue with white accessories and wore a corsage of white carna- tions. A reception was held following the ceremony in the church par- lors.
