Easy Park Entrances

You can go to the /data/levels/space/ folder, and locate the global.sam file. Where it says keys.to.enter, find the number 5 to the right of it and change it to a 1. Now it will only cost 1 key to get into the highest level in the game that would've normally taken 5 keys to get to. (The same can be done on the Fantasy level (/data/levels/fantasy/). Enjoy!

Hack Codes

NOTE: All these involve changing a system or game file, so have a back-up ready prior to hacking. Altering game files may mess up your game, you do this at your own risk.

When outside of the game: Locate the standard.sam file in the /data/levels directory of your Sim Theme Park game. Find the Bank Balance section and change starting balance from the default of 50,000 to whatever you need. The sky is the limit, go as high as you wish.

In the same standard.sam file, locate the string PeepInfo.MinimumEntryFee and set it to a high number (100 is good). As long as your entry fee is less than that amount, guests will come into your park with no objections or complaints. You could make it higher to make a quick buck if you would like, too.

In the same standard.sam file, locate the string for Arrival.MinPeople and change the number. This determines how many guests are dropped off when transportation vehicles arrive at your entrance. This helps you win golden tickets and challenges, a very good cheat.

Locate the rides.* file in your game's /data/levels directory. This file can be copied from one level to the next.

Hidden Music

Go to the ''SimCity 3000 Unlimited\Apps\Res\Sound'' directory and open ''audio.ini'' with a text editor such as Notepad. [I recommend creating a backup copy before editing this file in case you screw up].

Scroll down to a section called [Music]. Look for the line ;0x0a=''Concrete Jungle'',0,''Music\3kp5m.xa'','''',0,1,0,1 and change ;0x0a to 0x13. Next, look for a the line 0x0f=''SimCity 2000 Theme'',0,''Music\SC2KBug.xa'','''',0,0,0,1 and change 0,0,0,1 to 0,1,0,1. Save your changes and start up SC3U. If you type ''tile_information on'' (without quotes) then when you mouse arrow is over a tile, information about that tile pops up. To turn it off, simply replace on with off.

Lots of Quick Cash

Go to the cheat menu and type in the code for 1000 simoleons (klapaucius, or rosebud for the patched version). Press enter. Go to the cheat menu again, and fill it up with !;!;!;!... etc. When it's full, delete the last ! and put some other character in there instead. Weight down the enter key with something, such as a paperweight or fork. The window will pop up to tell you that there's no such code, but it will still give you 1000 simoleons for every ! still there, and your weight will make the box go away and continue to give you lots of money. Go away, and do something else for awhile. When you return, you'll be filthy stinking rich. Be warned, though. If you do this for too long, your funds will go into the negatives.

Slow Down (or Stop) the Decreasing of Sims' Needs

On the bar on the bottom of the screen, there are the Sim's faces. If you watch their needs when you rapidly click their faces, the needs wont decrease that much. The little red arrow that indicates that the Sim needs that need more will come quickly then leave right away. This works effectively but you cant really do anything while your clicking.

Glitches

Avoid Paying Bills

You'll need to have enough money to pay the bill first.

If you don't want to pay a bill (e.g. It'll leave you with next to nothing, or you just plain don't want to), then have a Sim pick up the bill and proceed to pay it. But before they reach the mail box to pay it, go into Buy Mode and buy until you don't have enough to cover the bill (e.g. if the bill is §800, then

buy until you have §799 or less). Then go back to Live Mode. The Sim will go to the mail box and pay the bill, but you won't have lost any money. Then just go back into Buy Mode and sell back what you just bought. Being the same day, you'll get all your money back.

Full Green Bars

First bring up the cheat window, then type in the ''move_objects on'' code. Now, save the game, and when that's done, any time you want to regenerate happy fully-green-bar sims, pause the game, select them and delete them. Now press play, and click on thier heads, and they should pop up somewhere, with all of thier bars fully green. PLEASE NOTE-if you are working on their skills like charisma and whatnot, you MUST save the game BEFORE deleting them! If you do not save the game, they will appear again as if you restarted the game, and thier skills will be lost!!

Give your Sims a bunch of skill points effortlessly

When in Create-A-Sim mode, create a child with no personality points and name them something like 'M'. Now edit the child Sim you just made and turn them into an adult, re-name them anything you like and make them look anyway you want them to. You can also give them personality points now. Create the family and once you move them into a lot, look at their skills. You'll see they'll have a bunch of random skill points you'd normally have to work for.

Import Your Own .MP3 To The Sims Radio

Okay, first of all, you are going to need a .mp3 sound file that you want to import into The Sims. Once you have one, copy the file and paste to this folder: (Assuming you installed the game in the C Drive, the directory is C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Music\Station\Rock\) So you should have your .mp3 sound file here: C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Music\Station\Rock\. Start The Sims, buy a radio if you don't already have one, turn the station to rock, wait a couple of seconds and listen to your favorite tune. Note: Where it says Rock in the directory, you don't have to put it in Rock, you can put it into any other station such a Country or Latin.

During gameplay, press Ctrl+Shift+C to bring up the cheat menu. Enter 'sim_speed XXXX' but replace "XXXX" with a number between -1000 and 1000. -1000 slows the game down the most. 1000 speeds the game

up so much that it won't show changes in your Sims' status bars. To deactivate the cheat, press '1,' '2,' or '3' or select one of the three speeds. Pausing won't deactive it.

More Neighborhoods

To get more neighborhoods go to your maxis folder and open the sims. Then copy one of the folders that say ''UserData'' and a number those numbers are the neighborhoods make sure the one you copy has no families or houses in it and then paste it in there and rename it to the ''UserData'' and a no. not used. You can have as many as you can fit in your hard drive.

Easter Eggs

See Jane, Sunny, and El Viz Perform

First, buy yourself two of the "Fancy Feet Dancer" cakes. This will NOT work unless you have more than one cake.

To See Jane The Dancing Gorilla:For the first cake, hire the female dancer. Now, go to the second cake and try to hire another female dancer. The game will say that you have already hired a female dancer. Ignore the game and keep trying to hire one. After 5 or 6 times, a large pink gorilla named Jane will pop out of the cake and dance for you!

To See Sunny or El VizNow, I'm not sure how to get the character you want for this one, because as far as I can tell its completely random. Anyway, to see Sunny or El Viz, do the exact same thing you did to get Jane, only hire a male dancer. Again, after about 5 or 6 tries, eigher Sunny the dancing clown or El Viz, a boxer who looks a bit like Elvis will pop out of the cake.

Secrets

Refresh all green bars

To give your Sim a full green bar for EVERYTHING! simply do this.

Put the move objects cheat on (''move_objects on'' without quotes) then send your sim to bed, or to sit down somewhere, once they have sat down delete the object (Note: Not The SIM)once you go back into live mode click on the Sims image and s/he will return with full green gauges!

Nude Sims

Using the CTRL+SHIFT+C cheat box type in 'move_objects on' without the apostriphes and make the Sim take a bath.Then while the Sim is taking a bath DELETE THE TUB (sometimes the Sim will disappear with the tub,if this happens than try doing it again.)The Sim will stand up-nude!

Note:It is wise to do it the day you get the tub so you can sell it for the price you bought it for.

Full Stats:-----------To get your Sim's stats full first push shift ctrl c. Then type in move_objects on. Use the hand tool and click on your Sim than press delete. Your Sim will disappear. As you click on the Sim's picture it will reappear with full stats.

Personality:------------To get ALL personality bars full, when you are creating your sim, don't give them ANY personality points in any of them, give them zero points, when you move them into their house, make them make potions until you get the yellow one, the yellow is permanently reversed personalities, so, you have all the personality points fulfilled.

pull up the alt, ctrl,c bar. then type in move_objects_on.then when you play ur game if ur person is sad or has bad personality you can pause it delete your person. Log out of your house (save it!!) and log back in. Your sim will be as good as new!!

Burgular arrives and you have no alarm:---------------------------------------Wait until the burgular has exited the house and you can click build mode then simply builda wall around him and call the police when they arrive undo the walls(if you dont have enoughmoney then move your furniture around him) its great.

Genie Earning:--------------Go into buy mode and go to miscellaneous (The unshaded circles) Go to the "+" and you shouldsee a genie lamp somewhere. Buy one for §375 and put it on the table. If you are an adult rubit and a genie will pop out. He might ask "money or love" or he might ask work or play. Answerwith the one most likely to get a good object that will sell for lots.
