The Villager A NOTE FROM AMY

March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb – at least that’s

the way the old saying goes. Here’s hoping it’s right! We’ve all

had enough of winter weather and look forward to spring. March

also brings madness – basketball that is, as well as more move-

ins.

The final wing of our Village opens this month and will bring a

conclusion to the construction that’s been going on for months!

Another wave of new residents will soon be joining us and we

look forward to welcoming them!

March also means Fat Tuesday, the beginning of Lent, Spring

Ahead with the beginning of daylight savings time and St. Pat-

rick’s Day. We plan to celebrate all of these! This month’s news-

letter is full of fun, food and frolic! Please join us for all the cele-

brations and special meals we have planned for you.

As we move into spring, we again want to thank you all for your

patience and understanding as we continue to develop our pro-

grams and services. Thanks to all for your suggestions and sup-

port! Every week our team meets to discuss our roles here and

every week I challenge the team with a “check-in” question. Re-

cently I asked them “What one thing could YOU do to improve

our residents experience here”? Answers ranged from more clar-

ity and consistency, to asking better questions when you come to

us and ideas for making you feel welcome.

We strive to make this not just a nice place for you to live, but an

environment that engages and enriches you! Happy March!
