THE WEDDING BREAKFAST

For a bespoke wedding, our Head Chef Tim Turner meets with each couple to design

their perfect menu.

Alternatively, we can create anything from a traditional afternoon tea, to a hog roast, or

a fine dining experience.

THE RECEPTION AND PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES

Whether a couple choose to stay with us on their first evening or simply want a quiet and peaceful space to get ready, the wedding party has exclusive use

of our Bridal suite.

The bridal/ wedding party can arrive from 11am on the morning of the wedding day

and relax in the suite. Hair stylists and beauty therapists often come to The Club to provide treatments and pampering for the Bridal party before

the wedding.

Guests are offered dedicated rates when they book bedrooms for the wedding.

RELAX AND UNWIND

LET THE CEREMONY COMMENCE

Couples can have their ceremony at The Club or

alternatively at a church nearby. Before a couple can marry at The Jockey Club Rooms they need to co-ordinate the date, time and registrar’s fees directly with the Superintendent Registrar and give

“Notice of Marriage”.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

BAR LICENSING

Our licence permits us to serve alcohol until 11.30pm with music concluding at

11.45pm with final guests departure by 12 midnight. We are able to apply for an extension, however this must

be arranged at least 30 days prior to the wedding.

ACCREDITED SUPPLIERS

We have a comprehensive list of accredited suppliers, all of whom have been recruited and vetted to ensure

that they offer the highest standards of service and attention to detail and are able to work in a listed building, giving the couple peace of mind.

We are always delighted to invite couples to a private viewing of the Rooms. Telephone or email us to

arrange an appointment to suit your diary.

LOCATION

The Jockey Club Rooms are situated on the centre of Newmarket’s High Street, on the right hand side next to the Post Office. Our gates open automatically upon driving up to them.

FROM THE SOUTH Exit the M11 at Junction 9 and take the A11. After 10 miles take the A1304 signed for Newmarket. This road leads directly on to

Newmarket High Street.

FROM THE NORTH & WEST Exit the A1(M) at Junction 14 and take the

A14 signed Cambridge and Newmarket. Take the A1303 into the centre of Newmarket.

FROM THE EAST Exit the A14 at Junction 38 and follow the A1304 into the centre of Newmarket.
