THIS WEEK AT TRINITY December 11-17, 2016
Experience Worship with Us! This is the third Sunday of Advent and our Christmas Musical.
Pastor Eric Riesen will preach at all three weekend services.
Our 32nd-annual Christmas Musical, Images of Christmas, will be presented this weekend, in the Worship Center in Jack’s Place, by a choir accompanied by a full or-chestra. We invite you to bring friends to this special weekend of Christmas carols, as we begin our celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Each service (Saturday, 6:30 pm and Sunday, 8:30 & 10:45 am) will last a little longer than an hour. Child Care is available for children age four and under.
Join us as together we praise God and hear His Word for our living.

OUR 10:45 RADIO BROADCAST on WNCO-AM 1340 is sponsored by Don and Sue Bowman, in memory of loved ones, and by an anonymous member, to allow the listeners to enjoy the Christmas Musical.
SUNDAY SCHOOL Due to the holidays falling on Sundays, this year, there will be NO Sunday School on December 25 or January 1! Regular Sunday School will resume on January 8.
A Note from Our Financial Secretary As we approach the end of 2016, we think of year-end giving and deductions for 2016 tax purposes. All monies received in the Church Office, either by mail, in the offering plate, electronic, or direct de-posit through the Saturday Night Folk Service on December 31, will be credited to your 2016 church giving. Anything received after that time will be credited to your 2017 giving. To ensure the deducti-bility of your church contributions, please do not file your 2016 income tax return until you have re-ceived a written acknowledgment of your contributions from the church. (You may lose a deduction from some contributions if you file your tax return before receiving a notification of your contributions from the church.)

CHRISTMAS DAY: 10 AM LESSONS, CAROLS, MESSAGE AND COMMUNION
One service this year, as Christmas Day falls on a Sunday. What better way to begin your Christmas Day than to celebrate the entire Christmas story in words, carols, vocal solos, and
special music by brass and strings, hear the word preached, and by gathering around the Lord’s table.

they've heard throughout life. Friends are always welcome!
Mosaic: Wednesdays from 6-7:30pm Mosaic is our small group ministry for students
in grades 6-12. It is aimed at students who want to be challenged, build Christ-like relationships with others, and go deeper in their faith. Students
are divided into small groups by gender and grade and are paired with two volunteer leaders.
Game Room opens at 5:30pm for snacks and fel-lowship. Mosaic will run 6-7:30pm.
High Praise Youth Choir High Praise will rehearse from 7:30-8:15pm on
December 14. Choir performances will be Decem-ber 18, at the Praise Worship Service and also on
Christmas Eve.
2016 Women’s Brunch a HUGE Success Nearly 300 women included the Women’s Christmas Brunch as part of their holiday celebrations this year. That is the largest brunch to date and we sold out well before this year’s deadline!! We had a marvelous morning of food and fellowship! In addition, joyful devotions, Christmas music from the AHS Orchestra En-semble, and a fun and easy craft completed the morning that has become a favorite event for many women of Trinity, and their friends. We also collected LOTS of socks and gloves for Ashland Parenting Plus. Thank you! Special thanks to all the women and groups who chose to decorate a table this year. We had so many won-derful comments on the beautiful tables. They were truly a sight to see!! We are so blessed to have such creative women among us at Trinity! Also, a thank you to the National Honor Society students who help out and the guys who willingly set up and tear down our lovely event each year. We couldn’t do it without them! If you think you might be interested in being a part of this fun ministry to women next year, please give Dawn Forbes a call in the church office or e-mail her at [email protected]!
P.S. We have extra angel kits, if you want to buy any for a fun project...just contact Dawn!

TOP REASONS FOR JOINING THE CHURCH CHOIR
You're running out of clean clothes and the robe saves on laundry.
The church is usually crowded and you want to make sure you always have a seat.
You've just been selected for jury duty and you want to get use to sitting with a large group of people.
The collection plate is never passed to the choir.
For years you have wanted to know who sits in the back of the church but were afraid to turn around and look.
You've been known to nod off during the sermon and don't want the pastor to catch you.
Your favorite movie is Sister Act!!
