My Peeps Consequences
Trivia Game
Teams spin the wheel
(Start/Stop button) to
determine the points they
will be playing for. They
then select a question from
that category.
On the question slides, if a question is answered incorrectly,
press the Start/Stop button to determine the consequence
that the team must perform.
is a game for your friends & about your
friends.
The My Peeps Trivia Game is ideal for
celebrating an occasion for a special friend,
or just for having fun when friends get
together. If you’re celebrating for a special
friend, teams compete to answer trivia
questions about your honored guest.
Alternatively, you can design the game to be
about ALL your friends, allowing each to
take turns being the Peep on the Spot.
Teams earn points in the game by guessing
how the Peep on the Spot (The person who
the question is about) would respond to a
trivia question about themselves. A sample
question might read “Which of these four
desserts would _________ say is one of
their favorites, A. Carrot Cake, B. Ice-cream,
C. Chocolate Pudding, or D Pie.” After “The
Peep on the Spot” reveals their selection,
the host clicks the Match or No Match
button and scores team points accordingly.

My Peeps DEAL
Trivia Game
The DEAL Trivia game has
an interesting game twist.
Teams select lockboxes and
must choose either the
banker’s offer or what’s in
the lockbox. Dollars in the
lockboxes range from $100
to $2000. The main game screen will
show the lockbox values as well
as the questions used.
My Peeps Peril 3D
Trivia Game
A typical game show
format with 4 categories.
Select a category and value
like “Weird Friends” for
$300. This game is also
compatible for use with
ChromaDepth 3D glasses
for an enhanced 3D effect.
My Peeps Trivia for ALL your friends
Using the My Peeps Trivia Game to celebrate a friend’s birthday or other special day is a great way to go. You
can, however, use this game for parties or holiday “get together” events as well. In this case you might want
to make the game about ALL of your friends rather than one particular friend at the party. To do this just
replace the “NAMEHERE” text on each question with the name of one of your friends at the party.
For example, let’s imagine, your friend Josie is at the party, and a question comes up about her. Now
obviously Josie won’t be able to help her team with this particular question because she will have to provide
the correct answer. Again the team selects one of the choices as the one they believe Josie will select. Josie
then tells us which choice is actually correct. If it’s a match that team SCORES!

How to Show a Peeps Trivia Game
This game is best played when shown on a big screen
television. Since it’s a PowerPoint file, you will need to
hook up your computer to a big screen TV. There are
several ways to connect. See our website at
MyPeepsTrivia.com to view a video providing easy
connection instructions. Another option is to play the game
from your computer itself. Although not totally necessary, a
BIG monitor will help to allow your players to better view
the game screens.

while still in slide show mode, you’ll be able to
easily type in your two team names which will
appear in the game intro and on the
scoreboard. Be creative!
Now use the Escape (ESC) key to switch to
PowerPoint edit mode (Esc), press CTL+H, in
the FIND box, type NAMEHERE in the box, and
the name of the Peep on the Spot in the
REPLACE box. Check “Find whole words only”
and click REPLACE ALL. This name will be
automatically placed into every question in
the game. Repeat this process pressing CTL+H,
input in the FIND box he/she and REPLACE
with he or she. Remember to check “Find
whole words only" checkbox. Obviously, if
you want the game to be about ALL of your
peeps, you’ll have to change the NAMEHERE
and he/she text on each question individually.
On the Team Intro slide replace the
NAMEHERE text with “ALL of My Friends”.
We recommend always working from a copy
of the original PPT file. In this way you’ll
always have the original game available. In
addition, it is important that you don’t move,
add or delete slides from the game.

How to Edit Game Questions
Editing the game questions is easy and will make
the game even more FUN! After all, who knows
your friends better than you! You can do this in a
number of ways. Clicking 3X fast on, or dragging
your mouse through, any of the PowerPoint text
boxes will highlight that text. After highlighting,
begin typing to change the information. You may
only want to change one of our answer choices
with one you’re sure is “on target” for a particular
friend. Also consider changing the game pictures
as well. Your friends will love to see themselves in
the very game they’re playing!
Suggestion: Do a little research and come up with
interesting trivia about your friends to put into the
game. Obviously you don’t want to get too
personal, but it will be fun to surprise them with
trivia they didn’t even know you knew!

Keeping Score
Keeping score is done at the click of a button.

More about the question screens
Clicking on the answer Match/No Match buttons
in the game will play a fun sound and indicate if
an answer is correct or incorrect.
An optional dynamite timer is also provided, and
when clicked starts the fuse burning down for 30
seconds. It can be used by the host when teams
are taking too long to provide an answer.
The HOME button will return you to the main
game screen and scoreboard (buttons/timer
pictured below).

Introductory Screens
Great, now that you’ve finished your edits and
inputs for the setup screen you’re ready to play.
Clicking on the Start Game button will begin a
flashy musical introduction and present your
teams and, if the game is a celebration for one
special friend, the “Peep on the Spot” as well.
You can also change the pictures in the intro with
your own.
Hint: PowerPoint 2007 and 2010 allows you to
right click with your mouse on any graphic, select
change picture, and browse to select a
replacement picture from your computer. In this
way, the picture animation remains unchanged.

What would a game be without a “Grand Finale”? Clicking the Finale button from the main game screen
plays a musical tribute to the game winners. This is a great place to replace some or all of the pictures
we’ve selected with pics of your friends! From here the host can click on the (?) button to move to the
Prize selector screen (shown below).

Connecting your computer to your TV
My Peeps Trivia is a game played by a group of people in your home. It is important that it be easily seen by
your peeps. The best way to do this is to use a big screen TV. There are several ways to hook up a
computer to your television set.
HDMI Hook Up
The fastest and easiest way is to use an HDMI cable. To connect a PC to a television set with an HDMI cable,
both the computer and television must have an HDMI port. Situate the PC near the television set. Power on
the computer and television. Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the PC's "HDMI" port (connection (5)
shown below). The port may be located on the side or rear of a laptop, or the front or rear of the case for
desktop systems. Insert the other end of the HDMI cable into the television's "HDMI" port. Select "Input" on
the television remote and browse available inputs until you find the "HDMI" input option and select it. If you
don't have a remote, select the "Menu" button on the TV and then select the input menu. Some TVs have
more than one HDMI input option; browse each HDMI input until the computer screen appears on the TV.
Some older HDMI-enabled video cards don't support audio, which means the audio will not transmit to the
TV. In this case, you can listen to the audio through the computer speakers.

If your equipment does not have HDMI ports
there are many other ways to display your
computer screen on your TV. Because almost
every computer has an output port, you can use
a cable to connect your computer to your high-
definition television (HDTV).
Most computers have a VGA (1) output port (so
using VGA cables are very common). Others may
have Digital Visual Interface (DVI), or component
video output ports, which all require different
kinds of cables (see various connectors depicted
on right). Check your computer/TV for the
connector cables that will work for you. Cables
for VGA, DVI, and component video don't
support audio signals and you may want to use
your computer speakers to enhance the game
sounds.
