Working out priorities…
In too many organizations, working long hours is equated with working hard…in fact…long hours often decrease efficiency and productivity!

08:30 Read emails, talked with Kalipi
09:00 In-house meeting
09:30 Continuation of meeting
10:00 Checked facebook, made a phone call
10:30 Read report, made review suggestions
Etc
Working out priorities!
Task A (important and urgent)
Task B (important or urgent)
Task C (routine but necessary)
Priority tasking continued
• Any work day should include a mixture of A-, B- and C-tasks!
• Plan a selection of tasks that you can realistically achieve in the work day
• Spread the three types of tasks throughout the day, i.e. intersperse blocks of concentration (for A-tasks) with periods of less demanding B- and C-tasks
• Important to allocate the most demanding tasks of the day when u are at mental and physical peak!
Keep a master list!
Most importantly: Think positive!!!
Make time to do things you enjoy!
Positive attitude (with a positive attitude, it is easier to manage your time and solve problems at work)
When you take the time to plan, you can consciously be positive!
