49TH TERAN AND PROSCIUTTO FESTIVAL

Sežana3 August - 11 August 2019

The coronation of the new Teran wine Queen in Pliskovica on August 3rd is opening the 49th edition of the Teran and Prosciutto Festival, which ends on August 11th with the traditional procession of waggons in Dutovlje. At Bunčetova domačija you will be able to dive into an enogastronomic experience with a series of culinary evenings: from Terra Carsus with Karst master chefs to culinary workshops for children and combining desserts with Teran. Nights in Ljubljana Old Town is a mini festival closing the Summer in Ljubljana Old Town festival and symbolically concluding the Imago Slo-veniae Festival and Ljubljana’s summer events season. It traditionally features over 30 performances by some of the best Slovenian and International musicians from more than 15 countries. The project not only focuses on music from all over the world but also includes art exhibitions, literary events and workshops that will be taking place in the streets and squares of the old part of the city centre.
