Shipping Hold on 3M* Dri-Shield* Static Shielding Moisture Barrier Bags

3M issued a notice on August 1, 2013 stating that they were halting shipments of 3M* Moisture

Barrier Bag SCC Dri-Shield* 2000 & and 3M* Moisture Barrier Bag Dri-Shield* SCC 2700because testing had shown that the bags did not meet 3M's specifications for moisture vapor

transmission rate ("MVTR"). We have also had inquiries from customers on 3M* Dri-Shield* 3000

and Dri-Shield* 3700. There seems to be some issue locating these products as well.

Due to the nature of this stoppage of 3M DriShield* products, many companies are seeking

Protect VF 125 is an opaque, electrostatic and EMI/RFI protective, and high barrier aluminum foil

structure which offers excellent puncture resistence. The Interior sealing film is specially formulatedto maximize seal strength and eliminate leaks in difficult vacuum applications, such as SMD tape
