Welcome to your October edition of your Tuffley-Link magazine.

The new academic year is now well under way and this can mean the beginning of a new era for

many parents and children. Whether its their first days at primary or secondary school, or leaving

the nest to start College or University, September can be the start of new beginnings. If you are

looking for any help with your child, outside of school, we have a tutor on page 10 who specialises in

Maths tuition.

If you are suffering with Empty Nest Syndrome at this time of year, why not try a new venture, there

are Art Classes taking place at the Abbeydale Sports and Community Centre - see page 10 for more

information. Alternatively Robinswood Social Centre holds a variety of activities throughout the

week, see page 11 for further details. Also Tuffley Library are holding an I.T club on Thursdays

between 11am and 1pm, why not pop along with and IT issues you may have, there are more details

on page 15.

Whilst the older children may have gone back to school, there

is a Nipper, Babies and Toddlers Group held every Wednes-

day morning during term time at the St Barnabas church

hall, 9.30am - 11.30am, just turn up or contact Karen on

01452 556112 or Rachel on 01452 413201 for more info.

us to advertise, remember just to get in contact.
