(tu·nób’ mabilis) verb. to set one’s foot; make a step; step(tu’·nob malumay) noun. footprint

• inspired by Batch 1975’s Nakatunobers• Dr. Sofia Aliño-Logarta explained that the “nakatunob” idea of Batch 1975 came about in

order to include batchmates who did not graduate with the batch. in fact, most batches follow this practice and welcome those nga wala nakahuman sa UP High pero nakatunob.hence, tanan “nakatunob” are considered alumni of the UP High School.

sat, July 12 *Exhibit*On this day, the whole UP High School will be the �EXHIBIT�

~ the following will be prominently ON DISPLAYfor all to see, listen, taste, smell & feel…

• the classrooms, the school buildings, the trees, the hallowed grounds – a standing testimony of our high school life

• the students as current “evidence” of the UP High education• the food (bananacue, manggang hilaw, fishball, mani, ice water…) –

reminding us of our sustenance back then• the big tarpaulins with batch photos & audio-visual presentation of old

photos – an exhibit of how we all looked• the music from the 70s to the present playing in the background• the games (soccer, volleyball, basketball) – a la intramurals gone by• the faculty with all their terror, humor and funny quirks• and of course, the alumni – the “nakatunobers”, our classmates

to recreate and take us back to that wonderful place called “high school”

• Tunob (see next page)

• Amazing Race – teams composed of members from different batches will compete to determine who knows their alma mater best & to showcase the UPian’s tenacity

• Campus Tour• Picture-taking with Mr. Lu – with replicas of our old ID standee and

our old uniforms (just put your head through the hole and get an instant make-over, similar to those found in theme parks)

• Parlor Games (AM) – sack race, bato lata, hula hoop, shatung, etc.

• Group Games (PM) – soccer, volleyball, basketball, mock war

• Make your own Tsinelas• Audiovisual Presentation – old photos slideshow, videoke of “our”

songs, film-showing

• Memorabilia Display (at Hometech Room)

• each alumnus attending the event will have a chance to “cement” their ‘tunob’, their footprint… to save cost, we can only accommodate one foot. ☺

• these footprints will then be placed in the “New UP High Campus” and called the Tunob Walk

• a photo of your individual ‘tunob’ will be given to you as a souvenir a la postcard
