Conversions of Electric and Diesel machines, forklift trucks, lift tables, cranes, earth moving machines, intended to be used in hazardous areas due to the presence of flammable gas and vapours and/or combustible dusts.We have also developed a range of specialised conversion of machinery to be used in both above and underground ha-zardous areas along with military specification equipment for explosive handling.

We can provide certifications to meet the specific local requirements of your market, such as ATEX, IECEx, CSA, UL, NORSOK, to name but a few.In order to meet all these requirements, EXCEN offers:- “Ex d” enclosures for control panels made of stainless steel, carbon steel or aluminum alloy.- “Ex e” batteries for UPS, solar and wind systems- Internal combustion engines for stationary use, gen-sets, pumps or cranes
We also offer a comprehensive range of ATEX compliant fork lift trucks for rental on medium or short term contracts. Our fleet incorporates vehicles for a wide range of applica-tions and area classifications. This option is an ideal way to match material handling re-source to peak production capacity requirements or fill a gap until new equipment can be manufactured.
With EXCEN safety and reliability are guaranteed. Our support services are provided by qualified engineers, also available to provide periodic inspections in compliance with EN60079-17. We repair ATEX equipment meeting Saqr-ATEX guidelines and guaranteed conformity of the reconditioned products.EXCEN can also provide bespoke training courses for main-tenaince technicians. Training is provided by EXCEN’s own Ism-ATEX certified trainers.These events can be hosted at either our headquarter or at customers own sites worldwide.
