The distance between a mobile using an antenna with a gain of 2.55 dB and a base station is 6km. The carrier frequency is 900 MHz, the base station uses antenna with a gain of 6.33 dB.Find the path loss using:

1. The Free-space model;

2. The two-ray model, assuming transmitting antenna and receiving antenna are at eleva-tions of 40 m and 1.5 m respectively; and

3. The Hata model assuming:

(a) Large city location;

(b) Suburban location;

(c) Small to medium city location; and

(d) Rural location.

Compare the results.
