Interviews

• Interviews are completed by the interviewer based on what the interviewee says.

• Interviews are a far more personal form of research.• In the personal interview, the interviewer works directly

with the interviewee.• Unlike with mail surveys, the interviewer has the

opportunity to probe or ask follow up questions.• Interviews are generally easier for the interviewee,

especially if what is sought are opinions and/or impressions.

• Interviews are time consuming and they are resource intensive.

Personality Sketch

• The  personality  sketch  is  a  short  biography that includes and reports an individual’s achievements .

• Its purpose is to determine, whether  a success  article or  a profile, is to portray the intimate details of character and personality  of  someone.  

• The  person  may  be  widely known, one who has achieved some form of greatness or  someone  whose  life  is  in  some  way  interesting.

Confession

• The confession article is not necessarily a “shocker” or scandal  story.  

• Instead, it is an “inside story” of conditions or problems in an individuals/bands music career and or life.
